*Chloe’s POV*
Winter, her mate, and I watched from a distance as poor Ruby passed out. Ruby’s mate and Reina sped to catch her in time before she could fall on the floor. She was looking a bit pale and weak, but never in my wildest dreams did I think that she was going to pass out. The use of power has never really weakened witches, unless they were drained of their powers, so I didn’t think it would to werewolves. All three of us ran to check on Ruby as well.
“What the f**k? What’s wrong with her?” Ruby’s mate asked in panic. It must be nice to have someone care for you like that.
“You!” Alpha Asšhole pointed at me angrily. “This is all your fault. If you wouldn’t have pushed them, this—” He was yelling when Reina interrupted.
