“Hey, Winter!” Ruby said, calling me over.
“Hey, girlie!” I replied, giving her a tight hug.
“You have seemed upset these last few days. Are you okay?” She asked me with brows furrowed.
“Yeah. This whole mate thing is crazy hard.” I replied with a frown.
“Well, why don’t you accept him, silly?” She giggled.
“I have. It’s just… I can’t leave the pack. I’m the beta and this is my life. Reina isn’t planning on leaving it either.” I told her with a sigh.
“Well, I get it, but maybe there is a way around this. I don’t know if I could live away from my mate.” She said with a tight smile.
We continued walking as we reached the training room.
