Before Surprising Winter
“What’s taking him so long?” Alex grumbled from behind me.
“Babe, he said he took the long way while everyone settled in.” I said as I rolled my eyes. “You can be a bit impatient.”
“It’s in the alpha blood.” He chuckled. “You should know.”
We had arrived about twenty minutes ago and had gotten all of our friends settled between the front living room, the kitchen, and the pool deck. The warriors had moved all the vehicles to the back so that Winter wouldn’t suspect anything. Honestly, I was surprised we had done so well. Summer was always the one to let it slip.
