Chapter 24Johnny checked his phone and read the text.
Zach: Text me when you’re done with dinner.
Dinner was close to finishing up; they were on dessert. Over Johnny’s shoulder, the sun began its descent into twilight. Tony and Colton’s condo lit up from the different pink and orange colors. He had to admit he liked having everyone together for dinner. It felt so normal.
“You’re smiling.” Lea passed Johnny a piece of key lime pie. “Is it because my cousin gave you that ring?”
“Of course, it is.” Colton smirked. “His fiancé came to visit him at work today.”
“He’s a good guy,” Tony said, elbowing Colton.
“Who, my brother? Or Zach? Did you hear that your uncle wants him to sign a pre-nup?” Colton asked Lea.
