Chapter 25Josie felt like she was being let into an unknown world. It didn’t matter that she’d spent a night on this couch a week ago and had occasionally waited in Rebecca’s living room before they went out. Now she was being invited inside, and inside the bedroom, and all after she’d been an ass. After Rebecca parked her suitcase in the front hall, she took Josie by her free hand and guided her to the bedroom. She asked Josie to sit—yes, on the bed is fine—and then she picked up the photo from off the wall. It was tacked up without a frame, but it had been put into one of those pocket sheet protectors.
