Chapter 83: Danger around the corner.

In Engineas... Chaos ensues. The Chaos is even more chaotic than the one in Oubon... And of course, The reason why, is because there's a demon that come out of the mask.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
The scream of agony just pierced everyone ears. But of course, everyone is screaming... The demon is sitting on top of the mountain of corpse like he's meditating... Everyone is panicking. And fortunately, the Demon keep quiet...
"Hmmmm... Magnificent."
The demon open his eyes and then stare at the people who is running away from him... And then... He just float up while still sitting... And then, he slowly put his feet down.
The Demon Raises his hand and then all of the corpse, the lifeless body that he had killed and suck all the bloods away... Started to form one massive lump of body. Sounds of their bone cracking can be heard...
Their bone was broken in order to make a perfect sphere out of the dead body... And then, The Demon point it at the crowds that's running away...
"Scatter Hell."
The Lump of body just exploded and then chases everyone that's running away from him...
"AAAAH!!!"
The Demon look up to the sky with cold look.
"Aaah... How nice, their screams are..."
He just continue floating to a certain building. A massive building where a certain company stands... The Company is pretty famous for being really good. But turns out...
"Corrupt leader shall be killed."
The demon... Is a former worker of that company. And he was tired of being s**t on by his co-worker and higher ups... And now, with the mask giving him the devil power... He punch the building seriously...
He punch that tall building as hard and as fast as he can. The impact is enough to first, shake the building. And then, it started crumbling down from the top floor down to the ground floor...
"Kukuku... This is my new power... Very Magnificent..."
The Demon look around and search for more human to kill... And he sees a kid going to the corner of a building... He smiled and then chase the kid down. The boy try to run as far as from the site as possible. But his tiny leg is not enough to cover as much ground as the Demon wings... He catch up to him and then grab him square on his neck...
He then lick his lips and then stated.
"You look delicious little one..."
"Hii!!! P-Please!! L-Let me live!!"
"Ahahaha~ That begging! Sounded nice!!!"
The demon open his mouth and then his tongue just turn into a really long sharp needles... With that, he just thrust it up of the boy's brain and then suck the life out of him. His body goes limp and his skin turn really pale... As a river of blood just comes out of the hole straight into the demon mouth...
"Disgusting... Truly disgusting."
Suddenly, from up top. A Massive kick from a heel strike the demon on the back of his head... Putting his brain to sleep. He throw up blood as he falls... But as he's falling, he saw a lady in red dress with white hair and red eyes... And beside her is a man wearing a suit.
"He's truly are disgusting... Let me give him one last attack then."
The man, disappear, and then he just kick the demon on the back of his head once again making the Demon truly pass out from the attack on his head...
"He's not dead yet. Keep your guards up Daniel."
"I know, I know, Margaret. You don't need to worry about me not keeping my guards up."
The two of them, take a couple of steps back from the Demon... And then, they get the chills... A really bad chills... Killing intent surges out from the Demon...
He had turned completely as a Demon now... He look at the pair of Margaret and Daniel... They get chills...
"Margaret..."
"Daniel..."
"RUN!"
The two of them immediately started running away from the area... But the Demon is stronger than the one in Oubon. He's much faster as well.. With that, he caught up to those two and then muttered.
"You thought you had me? You thought that I was done? I'm stronger than anyone in this city combined!"
He just kick Margaret back and then the sound of her bones cracking can be heard... And then, it shatters... Her back bone was completely shattered... Margaret pass out cold the moment that happened and she was completely stomped to the wall by the Demon... Daniel were scared.
"MARGARET!!!"
He look at the lady he's with possibly get killed by the Demon. And now, he's next... And indeed he is... The Demon just kick his chin and then he pass out cold. His head get blasted to the side of the wall and then his skull shatters as well...
"Kukuku!!! Hahaha! I'm the strongest!"
The Demon is happy. He started flexing his power around... But then... During that insane moment... He didn't notice...
"They're still alive, Alfredo."
A cold voice of Mashura pierced through his brain... She is feeling the beat of both Margaret and Daniel... And she determined that they're still alive, although, they're not going to have a perfect recovery...
"They're still alive? That's good then. That's the only thing that is important. As long as they're alive. No matter how bad their wound is, they're going to survive and make a complete recovery..."
Alfredo just look at Mashura from the side... While the two of them ignored the Demon... It leaves the demon dumbfounded... To the point he didn't even ask what's going on...
Anyway... Both Alfredo and Mashura just look at Daniel and Margaret...
In a glance, I can tell... That they're going to die soon. Even if they survive this... Their wound is too harsh for them to recover from... Shattered Spine, is already a killer... This lady will die...
This man, has a bashed in skull... His brain is exposed to those skulls... He's going to die...
... NOPE! THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY CHANCE OF SURVIVAL!!!
Haah.. They're lucky that Mashura detected them... Anyway... I just grab a brand new Grenade that I have... It's colored White. As Purity... And then, I push it and then make both of this people hold it...
And then, An Invisible Chain and Rod from Rhea Absolut just pierced the thing and then I just pierced a tiny needle into both of their arm...
The cube that look like a Grenade, I call it the Regenerative Initiator. And then the rod that falls down is the Rod of Life. An Advanced one as well. So, it can make the Living Slime inside the Rod of Life to force their body to regenerate back to normal. I call all of this combined into a really cool name...
Living Slime Therapy... I call it that. Because it sooth their mind away from the pain while simultaneously regenerate their body... That's finished...
"... Die."
I hear someone said Die to me... Ah, the Demon... I just put my hand straight up and then block the demon punch... He hit my gloves.
"Eh?"
The demon was surprised when he saw that his fingers just get shattered...
Mashura and I both stand up and then she look at me.
"I guess the Meteor Gloves is strong enough huh. Despite the very thin lining."
"Well, no matter how strong a punch is. They're not going to be as strong as Gyzus shot. And even Gyzus shot can only make a tiny dent on the gloves... So, It's going to shatter their fist for sure..."
We just have a normal leisure conversation while waiting for the Living Slime Therapy to finished doing its job... And also, we laugh... At the demon who's in pain after punching me... What a stupid creature ain't it?
