Chapter 59: The Cave!

"Um Captain. Are you sure this is a safe idea for us? We have no source of light whatsoever for the time being."
"Ah, Don't worry about that David. I've prepared some Flashlight of course... Mashura... This is for you, David, this is for you, Yuri, this is for you. You can turn it on now and then see the surrounding."
Of course, they turn on the Flashlight and then a bright light shines through this dark cave... Of course, the first moment we enter, we found nothing other than a couple of small bugs. Couple venomous spiders and also, a lot of bats...
But no shiny things that I can detect... Only stones and other type of stone that I found... No raw ore or minerals yet... But that's fine... I've mapped the Cave system so far, So we won't get lost....
And after a couple of hours walking down the cave system... We finally found something that is at least useful... A Magic Stone... And the Magic Stone is Rainbow as well! It's really useful!
"Captain. Three Chunks of Rainbow Magical Crystal has been spotted!"
Yuri stated with loud voice... And of course... I didn't take it immediately... Instead, I map the area where the Crystal are and then said.
"Let's continue running deeper... When we already quite far down and then reach a dead end, we will go back up and then harvest the ore while we're walking back up... We can't risk losing all of this resources when we encounter a Monster..."
Of course, I don't want to Torture David and Yuri that much... With this method, they can hold on to the empty basket a lot longer, and then when we go back up to harvest, they slowly feel the weight going up... And then when we reach the start, it's going to be the heaviest state.
And it seems like everyone picked up of my intention and just smile annoyingly... I just ignore their smile and continue going to the cave... I continue updating every single move that we do in the map so that we can actually come back out...
And while I'm doing that, the other, especially Mashura, help me to locate the ore that Yuri and David didn't catch. Her Infinity is showing an even more use outside of fighting. But of course, I don't intend to let her do this all the time...
But hey, She located a lot of Rheanite in the Ceiling and also a bit of Orichalcum... So, that's always a yes for me...
Anyway... We continue looking deeper into the cave... Before finally, we hit a three way section... Of course, that ended our exploration for today...
"Okay, for now, we've located a lot of Rheanite, Quite a lot of Mithril and Orichalcum. A LOT of Iron, and then a bit of Ionite... I must say, this is a good find for us. So, let's harvest it."
Everyone immediately started walking back to where we come from... Of course, I'm at the back right now, while Mashura is at the very front with the map...
I'm definitely looking all over the area with my flashlight to find other thing I missed...
And then, I almost missed it... A Chunk of Rainbow Colored Magic Stone. It's quite a lot in the Crystal Chunk so, I put it on David Basket and then he barely notices the changes in weight... And with that, we continue grabbing all of the stuff. Of course, we prioritize Ionite... Ionite is quite Heavy, but Ionite has one of the best Magic Affinity... So if I melt it into an Alloy and then make it as a Core of a Weapon, then I can combined it with Magic Stone and it will allow me to use Elemental Magic like Yuri does...
And that's honestly a big upgrade for us... Especially for me and Mashura. Since we know how to maximize our ability with each of our equipment...
Anyway, I've found some Ionite. That's a good find. There's probably some more stuff that I could find when I go into one of those three side...
But for now, I won't be really looking into that place because I need to provide some new equipment to Mashura and also, David and Yuri... Especially David and Yuri though...
Let's see..... What's the type of weapon that they would probably appreciate me making...
For Yuri... I think if I just spend some Ionite as a core for her replicated, stronger version of her sword... I'd probably good.
She's a thunder elemental attacker... In the battlefield her ability is a blessing for us..
And then for David, I think if I can break the meteorite and give him an armor lined with that, and also give him a massive shield that can shoot flame, is gonna be sick.
Maybe some chains for him to either pull himself to the target or pull the target into him...
Both choices is fine...
But before I can finish thinking about the equipment... We're already back outside... It's late in the afternoon now... We haven't had lunch or anything...
So, with the harvesting stuff is done safely... I line both David and Yuri on the front of the Rhea Absolute ramp...
"Alright, David. Yuri. You guys have done a good job helping us harvest stuff... I really appreciate you guys being there even though only for a Porter. But that's because you guys are not a fully pledged member of my crew... And now, come the welcoming ceremony..."
Mashura is visibly confused on what I'm going to do... Since I didn't do this to her... And I mean, why would I do this to her? She's my future queen and I know that fact before...
"Go up the ramp and try to not fall down gracefully to your butt. If you managed to do that! Then you're officially the crew of Rhea Absolut!"
Of course, David and Yuri immediately walk onto the ramp and then get shoot up pretty fast by the ramp.
I hold Mashura hand and then said...
"With that... They officially our crew now."
Mashura just smiled softly and run the back of my head... And I really enjoy that...
