Legacy of Rhea: Revival.

Chapter 4: After the Danger.

After I run far away from the first Ruin... I stop in the middle of the Forest while continuing to map the area... I've picked up fruits along the way here... And now, I'm searching for a source of clean water... I've seen puddle of water a lot. But it's not safe to drink because it's a puddle from the rain...

"It would be nice if I can find a clean river or some kind... I don't want to go back to the Beach just to refill my water..."

It's too far for me to walk back. And there's a possibility of Scavenger to appear on the Ruin. To eat the corpses of the beasts...

I don't really want to fight right now... Since my Equipment is recharging. And if I want to fight, I need to use the lethal weapon... And it won't be pretty for the environment. This island is nice. I don't want to ruin it with any sort of massive explosion of fire...

But then... As I'm making sure that my Mapping is correct... I hear something sneaking behind me... Of course, It's still far away. But I just notice it...

I quickly grab on my Rod of Lyssa... This Rod is really strong... I can bash anything with this and the Rod will be just fine... And I can do a lot of tricks that can be used with Rod of Lyssa...

I am quite cautious as a person. So I always have perfect knowledge of my Surrounding... Even on my back...

I specifically put one Golem facing backwards... And I always have my glasses Ready on my pocket... I take it out quickly and put it on... I put my hands on my Rod of Lyssa once again and close my eyes. Since I just use one Golem, I don't need to use Serene Mind...

And it sure is... Something are lurking behind me... It's a leopard... It has a pattern of a leopard... And it's ready to strike me... There's absolutely no way that I can outrun a Leopard without proper equipment...

So my only option is to kill it...

This is what I mean earlier today... They know about the slaughter of those wolves... And the monster started hunting because they didn't want the ecosystem in their forest to be ruined by other predator... This is the consequences of my action. I never expect them to move so quick... I guess I need to learn from this... The fact is, Monster aren't going to wait around like human does. They move by instinct... This is something that I need to keep in mind when fighting against beast.

I open my eyes back and then readied my Rod of Lyssa... And then... The wind flow.... I turn around and then draw my Rod of Lyssa... The Leopard was shock to see me Turn around really fast...

And in that moment, I smack the Leopard straight on his head... To be precise. On the side of his eye...

The Leopard was taken aback. But that's not enough to kill him... Well, I know that...

So I throw the other Rod of Lyssa that is on a timer to activate... There's three rod of Lyssa... Two of it, I hold... One is on the ground as Control... I throw one more and link those two... So that I can De-link it...

Deactivating one Rod of Lyssa is impossible. Because there are no Link that can be break... That's why, I need to activate two rod of Lyssa... One of it on the ground, far away from me if Possible... And then the other one is on my hand... Ready to be thrown at a timing...

The remaining Rod of Lyssa in my hand is to force it to de-link... Rod of Lyssa is perfected by that law of mine that I created...

Creating an unstoppable weapon with perfect pairing...

The Leopard get paralyzed by the Rod of Lyssa... Of course. I de-linked it and then grab it back...

"You pick the wrong fight fool. I fight with brain. Not with Pure Force..."

I continue my run away from those Leopard... I don't want him to chase me later on with rage state...

You know, this is how I fight... I create my own weapon with the concept of Combo. I don't made weapon with the process of, Think of a Weapon Concept, and then make a Combo after you make the Weapon.

I make the Concept of Combo first. What do I want from a weapon... And then I make the Weapon... And remember, Rod of Lyssa is just a product of other weapon... You can call this a failure... But this Failure is greater than most people greatest invention...

Anyway... After a couple of minutes of Run... I hear the sound of water... And hearing that... I bolted down to that particular direction... I make sure that I'm still marking where I go in the Map...

Eventually, I reach the source of the Water... A Flowing River that flows down really fast... I look at the water and then notices that this Water is probably flowing down from up the Forest... I started to think that there's a waterfall around...

But that's for later... For now... I refill my water bags... It took 15 minutes of Refilling and after making sure everything is alright... I started making my way toward the center of the Forest...

Since I know that the core of Rhea city is probably in the center of the Island. It's a simple Deduction... This pattern has been used throughout the world... Because it make it harder for enemy to reach the Royal Family... Giving them a lot more time to escape...

But sadly for Rhea Kingdom... Their technology is too advance that a single malfunction cost an entire Nation... Such a sad thing...

But we're lucky that the Explosion is not as bad as Human think it is...

Anyway... From my Map, I should be close to the Middle of the island... Wherever I go, I saw a lot of ruins standing tall... Of course, I look at it thoroughly to see if there's another site that I can make camp for the night. There's a couple of candidates so far. So it's fine...

I keep making my way to the Center of the Island... It should take about 3 hours before I reach it!!! It's inevitable! The Ancient Legacy Knowledge! Is going to be mine!!

I dashed straight toward the Center of the Island while keeping track of the Map... This is why, Being an Adventurer and Treasure Hunter at the same time is the greatest Job in the world!!!

The Treasure is always going to be given to the person who found it!
