Legacy of Rhea: Revival.

Chapter 51: Back where it begins.

Finally... We arrive to the place for me, where it all begun to escalate... The island where the Ancient Legacy of Rhea lies... The place where I started my journey...

The Rhea Island... Of course, I saw Sea Crawlers crawling toward the Beaches to seek food... The Sea Crawler is a creature that looks like a shellfish. They have shell, and they also have a pincer, and sharp scissors hand...

They look like a lobster, but they walk like humanoid creature... Their tentacles in their mouth is wriggling disgustingly and that thing is used to detect any changes in anything...

They scatter over the entire beach to seek for food... Of course, anything in the beach is a fair game to them. Birds, Turtles, And even some creature from the forest that foolishly search for food to the Beach, is a food for the Sea Crawlers.

Mashura is a bit disgusted when she saw that... I can see that she's not comfortable looking at the Sea Crawler... Which makes me wonder.

"Do you never see a Sea Crawler before, Mashura?"

"No... I've never see them in person at least. I know about their presence from all the reports that I received in Engineas... But when I still serve as a knight, I never saw them once... I don't know for what reason."

... That's a bit strange... Maybe there's a reason why Sea Crawlers never attack her when she's around...

"Even though they always attack a day before I receive the reports... But when I go there the day after... Nothing happened... And then the next day when I'm busy with others... They appear again and attack the coast..."

Mashura, You may not notices that... But I guess I too haven't notice it till now... The Sea Crawlers... Is scared...

"I know why that happened now... Sea Crawlers has a good sense of danger. So they're probably are scared of you when you show yourself to them... I mean, it's pretty easy to sense danger when you're around, Mashura... Even I, sometimes are scared of you."

Straight facts... Sea Crawlers is a creature that survive by chomping on the weak... So they always have a good sense of danger. When something has a strong presence like Mashura... They know they will be killed if they confront her directly or do anything in front of her... So they just disappear completely...

And of course, I'm scared of her, sometimes... It's not a good thing for a man to have... The attitude of scared of his lady... It's definitely embarrassing... But hey! It's not like I'm afraid of all the ladies in the world... I only scared of Mashura... Because... She, is, terrifying.

"I see... I think that's a good sense of thinking... If they didn't have good sense of alert, then they would've come directly at me and try to eat me as well... But the fact that you're scared of me Alfredo... That doesn't make any sense... Why are you scared of your own Fiancée?"

"A lot of things... First off, You're strong Mashura... I don't want to mess with you to the point you're really pissed that you will choose violence to stop me... And secondly. You are my Fiancée! I don't want to piss you off that you will break up with me!"

Mashura nodded quietly like 'That makes sense. Sorry for doubting you.' I just sigh in relief and then sit properly as I'm looking at the Island...'

Mashura sit down next to me and just see the movement of the Sea Crawlers... Truth be told, they're a bit of an ass to deal with. Because of their big numbers and disgusting looks... I preferred not to mess with them...

"Hey Alfredo. I want to try and fight these Sea Crawlers... So, can I do that?"

"Up to you. If you want to kill them, it's up to you!"

I grab her Kylus from the side and then offer it to her... And with that, she grab it and then put it on her side... She slide if on her sword belt and then walk toward the door of Rhea Absolut...

"Well then. Are you ready?"

She asked while readying herself to jump off... I grab my Gyzus out of the case and then aim it right with the Explosive Rod straight to the area where Mashura is going to land on.

"I'm ready."

"Alright! I'm going!"

She push her body off the Rhea Absolut and then fall down straight to the beach... She fall down gracefully and then landed by stabbing the sand with her Kylus... She touch the ground and then take out her Kylus out of the Sand...

"Good Evening Sea Crawlers... It seems like it's the first time we met..."

Mashura look at them and then point her sword straight at the group of Sea Crawlers... But they didn't flinch. Instead... They march toward Mashura slowly but surely... Which made her smile...

'Mashura. It looks like because they've been living in the wild. They didn't have any sense of danger toward Human. They simply see human as another source of food...'

'Yeah. Seems like it... Alfredo. Can you paralyze them all for me? Fighting them should be fine for me. But tomorrow, the Dragon might arrive here. And I want to reserve all of my Energy for them...'

'Alright. Leave it to me... I'll try to paralyze them.'

I change the direction where I'm aiming... From the coast, to the water... If I can make it rain sea water on them, I can shoot my Paralyzing Rod to the center of the Sea Crawlers and they would've been paralyzed for Mashura to take care with her Kylus...

And that's exactly what I did... I Shoot the explosive Rod to the Sea. It exploded when it touches the sand... The explosion is big enough that it sends quite a massive splash toward Mashura... Of course... Mashura dodge the Water altogether with moving back a bit and then moving back to her position...

I reload my Gyzus with the Paralyzing Rod and then shot it straight at the center of the Sea Crawlers... It pierces one of the Sea Crawlers. They detect the danger of Mashura now and try to move back. But they're too slow... The moment that they take a step back... My Paralyzing Rod take effect.

It sends a massive shock to the area and then any sort of water near them just amplify the shock... No matter what they are... As long as they're near the Paralyzing Rod... They would get paralyze. Its effect is pretty similar to Rod of Lyssa. Which takes effect when touched...

And when they're stopped moving...

'Thank you Alfredo. Now my job is a lot easier.'

She disappear in a moment and then when she comes back... She already sheathed her Kylus back to her sheath and then all of the Sea Crawlers get split in half...

"Subjugation Completed... It's not really a great fight."

Stop complaining Mashura... They're are weaklings after all..
