My eyes were still on Kai as Charles spoke when I realized myself- we were outside already. Kai didn't say anything as we drove to a restaurant, but I could tell he had something in his mind by the way he kept clutching and loosening his grip on the steering
I did my best to avoid his calls after his call on Sunday demanding my signature on the papers, I didn't refuse to sign it just because I was scared of losing Charles but also him
