Jenna's POV
I was seated erect on the sofa as I waited for Kai's arrival. My body stiffened when I heard a sudden knock on the door, I kept quiet at first but then the knock came again, heavier and louder this time
My brows creased, and my body shook in fear; that knock didn't sound like it came from Kai. The person at the door was persistent, knocking loudly and uncontrollably, it got to a point he was shaking the door knob roughly
I immediately got my phone, and dialed 911 while I rushed into my room- I locked the door and window, pulled the blind shut- grabbed anything that could be used as a weapon, and finally turned off the light in the room
Even from my room, I could hear the loud banging at the front door, I made sure to lock every window that led to the room I was in I crouch
