Nike's p.o.v We walked out of the pub after finding out Victoria had left with my car and hour ago, I was pissed but tried so hard not to show it as we walked on the road side by side. "I really enjoyed spending my time with you although I really wasn't expecting you," I said seriously and meant it, at first it was uncomfortable and scary but with time I got too relaxed and comfortable. "Me too, I really feel the same way, I was also hoping to make it a date next time we meet," he answered. I stopped walking and looked at him in shock, I was speechless and still felt insecure and new to spending time with someone who wasn't part of my family. "Are you asking me out on a date Max?," I asked in a whisper. He stopped walking too and looked at me. "Maybe I am," he answered Softly. "Maybe?" I asked trying to get him to decide if he really was asking me out.    "No, not maybe, I'm really asking you out on a date next week Saturday, same time and same place if you are okay with it," he answered. "Won't your girlfriend be furious?" I asked deliberately. I was curious to know more about him, I hated to admit it but I really liked his company despite how I felt. "Luckily I don't have, if I did I couldn't have been here with you, she could have been jealous. So what do you say?" he asked with a smile. "Unfortunately mine will be jealous," I answered seriously as his smile faded. "Oh, I'm sorry that I didn't ask if you were dating," he said the looked away. He looked very sad and disappointed, it made me feel bad too. "Got you, Didn't I?," I asked with a chuckle. He looked at me with a frown. "I don't have a boyfriend, so I would love to go on a date with you," I answered. "You are serious right?" He asked. "Of course Max, I was Just kidding, I will be there so don't worry please, come let's continue our walk," I said softly. "Thank you so much," he whispered then held my hand. I tensed for a second then relaxed. We slowly walked hand in hand quietly with no words left to say. After a few minutes, we stood near a shop that had a lot of taxis parked outside. "Let me talk to one of the taxi drivers, you wait for me here," he said then let go of my hand and went to the taxi, I looked at the sky and smiled. It was already evening and the weather was getting slightly cold. "Nike, come here," he called. I quickly moved and stood next to him. "Get in," he said then opened the front door for me. I hesitated but got in, he got in too and started the car. "I wasn't sure if you would be comfortable with the driver, so I booked it for an hour, the man is my neighbor, he knows me," he said then drove off. I relaxed and closed my eyes, I hated to think a lot so I was avoiding to do just that. For some minutes he drove quietly, when he touched my hand I opened my eyes. "We are here," he whispered then parked the car near my gate. "Thank you," I answered then unlocked the door and came out. "See you soon," he whispered then drove away. I sighed and moved closer to the speaker on the gate. "It's Nike open up," I said loudly. "Voice recognition granted," a female computer voice answered. The gate I got had a voice recognition to make sure no one could ever break in easily. It opened after a second, I went in and walked to the house. I got in and went straight to the living room.  "Welcome back," Vicky said with a smile. She sat on the couch with a glass of red wine in her hand.   "Your set up was stupid and very annoying," I said seriously. "But didn't you have a good time?" She asked. "By good time you mean you set me up with a complete stranger and put my life in complete danger, don't you know how my past affects me badly?" I asked loudly. She put the glass cup on the table and stood up. "I'm sorry, I didn't think things through, I just wanted you to have a great time with someone who wasn't me or Lucy, Marshal seemed friendly and caring when he got you home that time you fainted, I'm truly sorry sis, I will never do such a thing ever again," she said softly. "Well it's fine, he is so good looking and interesting after all, I really enjoyed my time with him," I answered honestly as she giggled loudly. "You seem like you like him, oh my God I'm so happy right now!" she screamed loudly. "Pipe it down lady," I said with a smile. "So tell me everything, what does he do for a living, how old is he, does he haven't, where does he stay?" She asked in one breath. "All I know is that he is single, he's 32 years and his name is Marshal," I answered. "That's all?" She asked loudly. "Yes, and next week I'm going on a date with him," I said. "Awesome!" She exclaimed.   "Yeah whatever, I'll just be careful," I answered. "You should really be careful okay, I don't want to worry over here," she said softly as I frowned. She usually acted super sweet when she wanted something from me. "I will don't worry. I can take care of myself," I answered. "Okay sis, I'm asking for some money," she said with a wide cutest smile she could come up with. "How much?" I asked while I moved and sat down. "$ 100,000," she answered. "Vicky come sit down next to me," I said.  She moved and sat down next to me. "Here is the thing little sis, you should never be desperate over money, money is nothing and it always attracts bad people, always keep a lookout for how you spend and show off to people, your safety should always come First, I don't give you a lot of money because I don't want to expose you to dangerous company, I don't want people to know you are a heiress like me," I said seriously. "But Nike...," She began to protest. "No buts, money killed mum and dad. Money nearly ended my life, our lives were in danger because mum and dad exposed themselves too much, luckily you didn't go through what I had gone through," I said. "I would love to know more about what you had to endure but sadly you never talk about it" she answered. "Vicky what I went through is not important," I said. "But I'm tired of going abroad every month leaving you behind," she said with tears in her eyes. "It's for the best, I'm doing this to protect you Victoria," I said then hugged her. "I know and I'm grateful, but I usually miss you a lot that side," she whispered. "If anything ever happens to me, promise me you will take care of yourself and our companies, promise me, Vicky," I said with tears. "I promise," she answered the pulled back and smiled with tears.
