OBINNA'S GREAT ACHIEVEMENT AND AWARDS

Obinna’s transfer to Liverpool FC was a huge success for him. While in England, he won the UEFA Champions League three times, Europa League twice, the Premier League four times, FA Cup five times and the Capital One Cup, five times. He won the ‘Balon D’Or’, three times while in Liverpool FC, he also won the Golden Boot, six times; the PFA Award, five times, FWA Award, five times, and was among the UEFA XI, and FIFA Pro XI for eight record times. Obinna was invited by the NFF, to feature in the African Nations Cup, World Cup and also the Olympics Games in Germany. Later on, Obinna won the African Cup of Nations in Egypt, the World Cup in Spain, and the Olympics in Germany. He was very successful; he was voted African Best Player, BBC Best Player, Goal.com Best Player, and the FIFA Best Player that same year. He was nicknamed “EL OBYNO” (King Obinna). Obinna opened up a Super Modern Market for his mother, a Bottle and Sachet Water Producing Company named, “KALU WATERS” for his father; he also built an Estate for his parent. He went on to start a Motor Transportation Company, named “OBYNO TRANSPORT AND CO” (OTAC) in Nigeria, and his Nephew was overseeing the business. Obinna is through with his Masters Degree in Political Science, Diplomacy and International Relation at the Liverpool University, England. He married Chinyere Ugwu, one his Secondary School friend; she was a graduate of Accounting at UNIZIK, Akwa. Obinna’s wife gave birth to a baby girl after their luxurious and world lavish wedding, in which the President attended and many dignitaries from others continent, also many famous and retired footballers and his teammates also graced the wedding which appeared on National Television. Obinna named his daughter, Chinonyelu, which means “God is with me”. Obinna never forget his Church pastor and the Church; he helped in renovating the building and also in expanding it, he bought many musical instruments, chairs, and two long Coaster buses for the Church and a Toyota Camry for the Pastor. Obinna went back to Nigeria during end of season long vacation, he start constructing a Football Stadium at Onitsha, his home town. He commissioned Fifteen Football Academies across the Nation, where young talented footballers were freely registered to enhance their talents and skills. Obinna never forget his kind coach, Mr. Kelechi, he employed him to manage the Academy in Onitsha. He helped his best friend, Olisa, who was playing with Ubale United, Abuja; to secure a football contract with Metz FC of France. Mr. and Mrs. Odoh were really progressing in their various businesses, as numerous customers were patronizing them due to their son’s popularity and reputation, they were very happy to see their grand children and also their son’s establishment including the new commissioned OBYNO’S FOUNDATION, which caters for more than three million less privileged children. One day, Obinna was watching a Television Program on NTA, when the media started discussing about football Legends, and their wonderful records and achievements. They started discussing about the popular Legend, El Obyno; they started like this: *The first African to win the UEFA Champions League. *The first Player to score 1,300 goals in his first 1000 games *The first Player to win Five Balon D’Or *The first Player to secure a transfer move, worth $20 million *The only Player to win more than 20 Golden Boots *The only Player to win African Player of the year award for 9 times *The only Player to have scored 20 Champions League goals in a single campaign *The only player to score 100 goals in all completion for a single season *The first African Player to win a Quadruple in a season *The only player to score 18 goals in a World Cup *The only Player to feature in four World Cup Campaign and wins three *The only Player to score 55 World Cup goals in 42 games *The only Player to appear on FIFA Pro XI for a record of 10 times *The most decorated and successful player with 38 trophies. After watching the program, Obinna looked up and said to himself, “truly, I am the most successful and the luckiest footballer on earth, through the unstoppable help from the Almighty God”.
