Chapter Two

TWO I started taking a step and left her. She quickly followed. She has the same reaction just as when I left her, the confused looked. “What’s with 7:25? You didn’t answer me and you even left me. What’s your problem?” she anonymously blurted. “Is making your brain an answer okay?” I glanced at her. I want to see her reaction. “My brain? I have a brain, is that even considered as a problem?” she asked, pouting. Isn’t it confusing why did she become a valedictorian when she’s in grade school if her brain was like this? Am I missing a piece of it? “Shakie, can I request?” I stopped in front of my classroom. She also trailed on her tracks and looked at where we stopped. “What is it? Is it just easy?” She’s being too excited. “Fix your brain. I can’t even tell if you’re really smart or dumb,” I stated and entered the classroom. My classmates were staring at me as I entered until I took my seat on my respective chair found near the window. When am I going to get used to their stares? Our teacher isn’t around yet. “Ahm, Two?” Shakie loudly exclaimed at the classroom’s door. She’s waving at me. Our classmates looked at me and Shakie. I just ignored her. “Can I enter now? My room is here, too. Two? Yohoo!” She’s putting me in the middle of attraction. Why won't she just come in? Does she need to have permission from me? Like no! I’m not the teacher here and still, the teacher wasn’t here. “Tw—ouch!” I sighed. Shakie’s embarrassing me. She fell when four men pushed her as they enter inside. Well, I already know who’s those four morons. They are the—what is it again? Wait... Nevermind. I stood up and walked near my friend who’s still on the ground before something come that I don’t happen. The four just passed through her. The words gentlemen and respect weren’t even in their dictionary. “Sha, are you okay?” Her head was still looking down, fists were clenched. “Two... Sorry,” she murmured shyly. “It’s okay,” I said with a smile and tapped her shoulder. There’s a wide smile on her lips before she started picking up her books. Everyone was looking at us except for the four persons who bumped into my friend. I know them, yet I forget their name. “Wait, Two. I’ll just do something.” I can see the dark plan in her eyes. Here’s what she is. She placed her books and bag on a vacant seat in front of mine. I held her hand. I won’t let her do whatever she has in mind. I know her. “No, Sha. Just let it be, okay?” I squeezed her arm to make her understand me. “Don’t No Sha me, Two. Just watch my little revenge.” I heaved a sigh. This girl’s a hard-headed one. She removed my hands on her and directly walked towards the four men who’re sitting around while having some chitchats. I sighed again. I just took a seat without minding the stares and murmurs about us. I just watched her on what she’s going to do. Even if I stopped her over and over again, it’ll be no use. She follows her desire. “Hi!” Shakie gleefully greeted them. Confused, I waited for the next move of this sadistic girl. “What do you want?” their leader coldly stated, looking at her from head to toe. She stood properly and put her hands on the chair of their member. “Well, maybe you don’t know who I am," she blurted and irritation can’t be hidden in her voice. “Maybe no?” the one who’s holding a book retorted. He put down what he’s holding and boredly looked at her. “Right, Netheniel, we don’t,” the man wearing a smirk flouted. Netheniel... Sounds familiar, I mean looks familiar. What can I say to Sha? They should know her, perhaps. I saw how her grip on the backrest tightened and sighed without taking off the smile on her thin red lips. Her two dark piercing eyes glittered with anger. “I hate those who don’t know how to respect a woman,” she emphasized. “I don’t like boys who are not gentlemen.” “Find boys who are a gentleman and knows how to respect you,” the boy who’s playing on his phone mocked. Shakie looked at him. Everyone was shocked by the next thing she did. She kicked his chair. Even his friends got surprised. “Don’t mess with me, idiot.” She emphasized every word she said. “You won’t like what I can do to you once you do what you did to me earlier,” she warned while pointing at the four of them. The boy who’s sitting on the chair she kicked suddenly attacked her, yet before he could land a punch on her face, Shakie quickly gave her a kick on his stomach. She’s my war freak friend. I bet there’s a part of me that doesn’t know how to learn to control if she’s not my friend. Especially my emotion. The boy she kicked started crawling around. The pain was evident on his face. “What’s your problem?” Netheniel hissed on her. I wonder when will Shakie stop making scenes like this. Does she have a brain? It’s her first day in school yet she already make offences. She’s hard-headed. Shakie faced the boy standing in front of her. She flipped her hair and smirked at him. “What’s my problem? Are you dumb? Or you just forgot what you’ve done to me earlier? You embarrassed and hurt me. Isn’t that a reason?” she retorted. Their leader stood up so do I. I don’t get expelled just because of her stupidity. What will Mommy say to me if I did? Shakie wouldn’t like what I will do to her later. The buzzing of our classmates earlier had disappeared. Their attentions were fixated on Shakie and the four boys in front of her. I am not used to not knowing their names—their group’s name. They’re popular here in school so I must know them and their names. Eris was right. I am not good at memorizing people’s names. How great! Psh! “Is sorry already enough?” said Netheniel. Our classmates got shocked while me, no. Especially Shakie. Sorry is just a damn word, easy to say by those who repeatedly do mistakes. Sorry is just a s**t of fakers. “Enough? Sorry? That’s too old. No ones gonna accept your sorry that’s already trash for you. Right? Who are you to think you’re too good and strong? Black Phantom gang? Seriously? You act as if you own this world. Hiding my identity is not my thing.” Here she goes again. Talking too much without going straight to the point. “Shut up, long-tongued. You’re just a filthy b***h! Why did you say sorry, Neth? Are you insane? Teach this gaddamn b***h a lesson!” their leader coldly stated. No one knows humility. How I feel so sorry for that truth. I walked near Shakie who’s looking down. I know she’s already mad and was ready to explode anytime. No one knows her that’s why they have the guts to act tough. “Shak—“ I didn’t see how she took the ball pen our nerd classmate was holding. I just saw the wound on the cheeks of the leader of the four boys whose eyes grew wider because of what Shakie did. Behind the man was the ball pen that had been pinned on the wall. Your throw with the ball pen must be quick and strong for it to not get broken. “I am not scared of you. Remember this beautiful face, Daziel’s only daughter.” She turned her back on them and smiled at me. I sighed with relief. At last, she’s done. The murmurs around us that had disappeared earlier came back. Much louder than earlier. Lots of them were shocked at the girl who faced the Black Phantom Gang. Now I remembered the name, a big credit to Shakie. “You shouldn’t have done that, Sha...” I stated while shaking my head when she sat on her seat. Troublemaker? That’s not what I am. It’s her I know her and her deep secret aside from being the daughter of a billionaire. Shakie fixed herself, checking if she has a speck of dirt on her clothe or if there’s something she had ruined. The worriedness on her face disappeared when she saw that her uniform was just alright. Should I understand her concerns with things? When should I even understand a Daziel? She looked at me together with the smile plastered on her face as if nothing happened. “What can I do, Two? It’s done, it happened already. I should have lowered my pride. My new uniform got almost ruin. Is there a wound on my face, Two?” She lifted her white beautiful face on me. Why do I hate her prominent smile? “None. You want me to give you one?” I gave her my sweetest yet sarcastic smile. She quickly moved her face away from me. “Don’t! My goddess beauty will be ruined!” You're full of confidence in yourself. “Yeah, I know. I know.” I lazily nodded. “Thank you so much. It made my heart fluttered, Two.” Then she winked. “Don’t copy me in jeering, Sha. You’re being a copycat.” And I am not pleased. “Speaking of you, again.” And she laughed. “No problem,” I commented and looked outside. My jaw almost dropped from what I just saw. “Why is your face like that? Did you see a ghost?” Shakie asked with a furrowed forehead. “I never expected he’ll also come to study here, Sha,” I exclaimed without taking my gaze off at the door. “Who—” She didn’t finish what she’s saying after she turned her eyes on where I am looking at. “Oh, damn s**t!” she cursed.
