In fact, I've become so revered that some members seem to hold me in higher esteem than our pastors and even the church's founder.But despite this outward success, my personal life is a different story. I'm 33 years old, yet I remain unmarried, childless, and jobless. These are the problems I've struggled with for years, and it's frustrating to see others' lives transformed through my prayers while mine remains stagnant.I've often cried out to God, questioning why He's chosen to remain silent on my own struggles. It was as if my life was a puzzle, and just when the pieces seemed to be falling into place, they would scatter again.My quest for a life partner was a prime example. I had prayed fervently for God to guide me to the right woman. And then, I met Mercy, a kind and beautiful sister from our church. I shared my feelings with her, and we both sought God's direction. The Senior Pastor, the founder – who was also my godfather – and Mercy all confirmed that our union was ordained by God.With their blessings, Mercy and I began our courtship. Everything seemed perfect, and after a year and a half, we started making wedding preparations. I had prayed for countless others to find their life partners, and God had always answered. The day of my wedding was supposed to be the happiest day of my life, but instead, Mercy vanished without explanation, leaving me shattered and angry.Feeling betrayed by God's silence, I made a rash decision: I would stop praying for others and abandon my role in the church. Why serve a God who seemed unwilling to help me in my time of need?But just as I was about to walk away, my godfather, Mr. Paul, appeared at my side. His words were a gentle rebuke: "Don't blame God, my son. He loves you and will make things right if you hold on to faith and patience."Mr. Paul shared his own story of trials and tribulations.
