It has been a month since Jax sent Elliot away. A month of them hanging out everyday, texting whenever they weren't together So needles to say, both boys grew closer and closer. Elliot couldn't keep his smaller dark haired best friend out of his head to save his life. But same goes for Jax, he had dreams about his best friend, not all that s****l, well except for that one time when he woke up with a wet patch on his boxers and a bleeding lip from biting down on it. He remembers that dream vividly. He wrote it down in his journal so he would never forget, but nobody could ever read it. Today wasn't any different, he woke up after dreaming about going on a cute picknick date with Elliot, showered and walked down for breakfast, only to see the god himself talking to his mother. And all she Said was 'Goodmorning Sweetheart, happy birthday! I invited Elliot over for brunch today since it's your birthday. I know you don't like throwing big parties, but I figured you'd appreciate this.' And boy was she right, Elliot looked stunning, to put it lightly.
The boy was wearing his Boss fragrance with his plaid pants and a light shirt. His best look, if you asked Jax. They ate, laughed and told stories About Jax, when he was doing weird things. It was the best birthday ever, for Sure.
After brunch, both boys went shoppin, and Elliot even showed Jax a baby pink skirt, Jax blushed and shook his head, eventhough he really loved the skirt. He would never buy stuff for his secret closet while shopping with friends. Jax made a secret compartment in his closet, after Elliot had found his skirt. He doesn't want to risk anyone else accidentally finding it.
After lunch at Starbucks, both boys went iceskating and even held hands, Well that's more because of Elliot as he really sucks at it and he always gripped Jax' arm or hand when he would fall, but Jax didn't mind it one bit and neither did Elliot. Because for the first time, he had the nerve to touch his best friend in a way he never thought he'd ever be allowed to. So when Elliot fell, and pulled Jax down with him, it was decided to be best to just go grab dinner and so they did. To end their marvelous day, they had dinner in Jax' favorite restaurant, Nando's, and Ofcourse Elliot had payed for their entire day. After dinner, they went to Jax' place and Elliot gave him a bag, with the pink skirt inside of it. 'I saw it in your eyes.' Was his Excuse, not that he needed one because Jax hugged him tightly, closer than ever before, neither of them minded, Ofcourse.
If only they could just admit their feelings towards eachother. Jax thanked Elliot three times and put the skirt in his secret compartment. Elliot wanted to say 'you can only keep it if you show me.' But he didn't, knowing it'd sound weird and Jax already feels so insecure about it. So after they watched a movie where Jax tried not to fall asleep, which he failed at miserably, Elliot kissed him on the head gently, tucked him in and left.
