Chapter 6
Venezia was facing her floor mirror as she put her earrings on. She was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Come in," she called out, putting on the left earring.
The door opened as she grabbed her other earring and started to put it in her right ear. Angelo opened the door and leaned against the doorframe with his arms crossed over his chest, a small grin playing on his lips.
Venezia's breath hitched in her throat for a moment as she looked at him through the mirror, surprised because she wasn't expecting it to be him at the door. "Hi, Angelo," she mumbled as she returned her gaze to her ear.
"Good morning" he replied, smiling as he looked at her. He hated himself for loosing his chance with her because every time he looked at her, he felt like he was watching the world or
