It’s been six days since Payton went missing. Six days since the Deviant Squad, headed by Rachel f*****g Rosario, promised me and Harley that they would find her.
Six days, and nothing.
So, naturally, I’ve taken matters into my own hands.
As you know, I’m a Shifter. My favorite animal to shift into is a wolf, but I’ve got other, more useful animals that I can become, if the need arises.
And the need has certainly arisen.
Harley and I have different lists of suspects. She’s convinced it’s Rachel, Seth—which, by the way, threw me for a loop; is she or is she not sleeping with him?—or the parents. Or some combination of all the above. I don’t necessarily think she’s wrong, but I’ve got a suspect of my own: Stella.
