Rachel’s POV
“Dash, it’s me. Can we please talk?”
The first three times I knocked, he ignored me. For a second after I speak, I think he’s ignoring me again. But, finally, he answers.
“Okay.”
Not exactly the warm welcome you want the guy you’re madly in love with to give when you come to his door, but I’ll take what I can get.
I do have pride, in case you were questioning that. I get that what he said to me was pretty f*****g mean. But it was jealousy that drove him to it, right?
The real question is, does he hate Seth because he was with me… or because he’s now with Harley?
I don’t actually know that they’re f*****g; it was all for show. I said it because I hoped it would keep both the boys from wanting her—or at least, from thinking they might stand a chance with her.
