“Well, I have to say, I am pretty impressed by your serving skills.”The tall blond, wearing a blue formal dress that ended right below her knees, tossed her waves over her shoulder and took a seat right in front of Celeste, who had her hair tied up in a pony tail and sat across the woman, inside her office, wearing her prettiest and the only formal blue suit with a short pencil skirt. “I am glad that you could find my skills good enough.” Celeste smiled at the woman, who was also immensely fond of her etiquettes and her style, finding her the perfect fit for her five star restaurant. The two had made their way back inside the blonde’s office room, once Celeste was interviewed in the restaurant and also had to give a demo of her serving style, that she had practiced and worked hard on not just for years but also had a little practice with Hugh and Poly, who acted like two asshole customers, giving Celeste a hard time to please them, when she was practicing on her demonstration at the restaurant. “I have say...” the blond smiled, “... when Chris first recommended you to me, I was a bit skeptical, because you worked at Brighton, right?” Celeste nodded her head, only her eyebrows twitching slightly, as she herself was a bit skeptical, per say, when she was called for an interview at, ‘Santorini Genie’, the infamous Greek restaurant over the main boulevard of the Bond Street. Standing outside the restaurant and looking at its exquisite interior, with glass décor and black marble designing, it was an outstanding and peculiar layout, as the crystal chandelier hung down from the glass reflecting ceiling. Looking at the beautiful patterns of the restaurants, whereby it had a separate bar for the regulars and even the VIP section, Celeste only wished that she would get fixed for the job of a waitress. “... but looking at your qualifications. You graduated in hospitality and management from USC. That’s very impressive.” The blond smiled at Celeste, who only admired the fact that the woman, looked a lot like her cousin Chris. “Thank you!” “Honestly, I was not even sure that I would hire you as a waitress but looking the way you have the expertise to handle the situation and the business around the hotel, I would like to offer you a better job.” Celeste looked up at the woman, only wondering what she would have to say to her. “Would you like to take the job of our VIP section manager?” Celeste felt the air in her throat go dry, as she heard the offer that was given to her. “Oh! Miss...” “Guinevere Benjamin.” The woman finally introduced herself in a much more informal manner to Celeste, as she had previously not allowed herself to tell Celeste, her own name. “Yes, Miss Guinevere, I am just amazed that you are offering me the position of the manager of the VIP section... it wasn’t what I was expecting.” “Well... would you like to take it!” “Oh, yes... of course, I would.” Celeste laughed out loud, jumping up on her feet and bending forward to offer her hand to Guinevere, who laughed and shook Celeste’s hand back. “I will get the contract prepared and email it to you by Friday, so that you can immediately join us by Monday.” “You want me to join by Monday?” Celeste c****d at the woman, who lifted her head up in agreement. “I will definitely join in by Monday.” She smiled, and bid Guinevere a farewell and getting out of the restaurant, tossing her pony tail on her back and smiling out ear to ear, as she had gotten a job, much more and much better than her own expectations. She felt a door of heaven opened up on her, whereby, something great had been given to her. She jumped up on her feet, as she skipped steps, with a heartfelt smile and made her way back towards Hackney. Everything was finally falling right on the point for her. A good job to her, meant good money, that she would be able to use to help Hugh during his university and once he would be able to become a successful football star and achieve his dreams, Celeste could feel that she was finally getting to a point in her life, where things were taking a turn for her better good and all the bad days were finally over. But what she didn’t know was that the bad omen that she thought was gone for the better good, was just looming right behind her, in the shadows of her happiness and following her down the bus stop as well, where the bus arrived on time and she got in, along with the shadow of a tall man, wearing a large hoodie, covering his face carefully, making sure that he wasn’t recognized by the woman that he was following, at all. As Celeste sat by a corner seat in the bus on one of the front rows, the man stood at the back of the bus, keeping his eyes glued to Celeste and each and every little move that she made. At the next stop Celeste remained seated, as it wasn’t the one where she needed to get off and soon she saw an old lady get up on the bus and Celeste immediately got up from her seat, clearing it for the old woman but a young man sat down instead of the old lady, pushing past her, leaving Celeste confused and offended. She looked up at the old lady that seemed to be tired and worn out and it only irritated Celeste, that the man seemed entirely fine and finding an empty seat, he didn’t show enough courtesy to allow the woman to slump down on that seat. The stalker kept his eyes glued at Celeste, wondering if she was going to let it slip or do something about the man’s immoral behavior and unethical act of taking up a seat while an old lady was still standing up. Picking out a small pin out of her bag, Celeste leaned it and poked it right in to the man’s arm, pretending to be shaken up by the bus driver’s abrupt driving. “Hey!” the man yelled out loud, feeling a sharp sting in arm and Celeste pretended to look away. After a few seconds again, the man felt a sharp sting surging again in his arm and he looked up at Celeste, who smiled at him viciously, sending him the signal that if he didn’t get up, the poking will continue and feeling embarrassed of his actions, the man got up from the seat and Celeste smiled at the old lady, offering her the seat and throwing a deathly stare at the man. The stalker noticed that it was a great move by Celeste, who liked serving the community, but again, he wasn’t going to be fooled by appearances. He was all too well, of Celeste’s family and it was going to take more than community service to convince him that Celeste was actually a nicer person than one would presume her to be. Getting off the bus, Celeste made her way towards Hugh’s school, avoiding to go by the bleachers, she waited outside his lockers, standing along with other girls, who were waiting for their boyfriends. She found Lily standing by the corner and went to greet. “Hey! How are you?” she signed at Celeste, who smiled at her. “Good!” “You look really nice.” Lily complimented Celeste, pointing out towards her formal attire. “Oh! I had an interview.” “Did you get the job?” Celeste nodded at her. “That is amazing. Congratulations.” She jumped ahead and hugged Celeste, who hugged her back, feeling slightly awkward. She still wasn’t much acquainted with the girl and decided to go along her happy go lucky nature and hugged her back. “We should celebrate.” She motivated Celeste and she nodded her head at her. Boys began getting out of the lockers and Celeste felt slightly awkward, as many of them eyed them considering her to be either a teacher or a head mistress, on a visit, as many of her greeted her afternoon and she only smiled and nodded at them. Soon Hugh came out, along with some of his friends, that Celeste could tell were bad news, by simply looking at them. One of them wore baggy jeans and a lose shirt, as he did a signature hand shake with Hugh, pulling on his bag and nodded at Lily, who also pretended to not to see him and Celeste could tell that he was not a good student around the school.  Hugh felt surprised finding Celeste standing by Lily. “Why do I always find you two together?” he asked Celeste, who smiled looking at Lily. “I came to get you both!” she told Hugh, masking her original plan which was to only get Hugh but seeing Lily there, she decided to tag her along as well. “For what? Oh! How was the interview?” “Guess what?” Celeste smiled, “Neither did I get the job but I also got hired as the manager.” “What?” Hugh raised his hands in the air, surprised to find out that Celeste had gotten such a huge job. He knew that it was his sister’s passion to open up a club of her own one day and with her achieving success in her field, it only meant that was getting closer to achieving her dream everyday. “Oh my God! That is so f*****g huge, right?” Celeste stated and Hugh jumped to hug her. “What is huge?” a voice cooed, making Celeste jump and turn around only to find that Chris was standing right behind her. She bit her tongue inside her mouth and knew that there was no point of her trying to escape and avoid an interaction with Chris. He eyed her up and down, noticing the short formal skirt that flashed her long legs, making it a perfect sight for sore eyes. Chris felt his heart skipping beats, seeing Celeste looking extremely elegant in that skirt. Her hips daunted perpendicularly, as she tried shifting her weight from one leg to another but her gestures were only adding more to her sexuality, as the skirt emphasized perfectly on her amply pumped butt. “Hello?” Chris smiled at Celeste and she smiled back at him, breaking out of her thoughts. “Hey!” “You didn’t come by the benches today?” he asked and she shrugged at him. “I was late, so decided to meet him here.” “Are you avoiding me?” “What?” she puffed out air, acting as ridiculous as she could. Her brother and Lily could definitely see through her and know that she was acting her best to cover up for her guilt of trying to avoid Chris and then actually deny it. “I was actually going to come and get you, just now.” “Get me? for what?” Chris asked in a completely amused tone, excited to know what Celeste wanted to do with him. “I wanted to take you out, along with the kids for a treat. I got the job, so I had decided to treat everyone out.” She fisted in air, pretending to be strong in the entire situation and internally screaming in embarrassment, pain and scrutiny, wishing that Chris would deny her offer but much to her dismay, he nodded in agreement. “Sounds about right! You can send me the location and I will see you there.” With that Chris walked back inside the locker, leaving Celeste groaning in her own humiliated agony. Before getting inside the changing room, Chris turned around one last time and threw a smile at her face, which was enough to melt anyone’s heart but coupled with his words, it only left Celeste mortified and ill at ease. “Hey! Don’t take that skirt off for dinner, it really looks good.” But what followed next by Celeste’s own words, made her wish the ground would open up underneath her feet and swallow her right down, or an alien would appear with a teleporting gun and hand it to Celeste, allowing her to open up a portal to anywhere in the world and simply run away. “Why would I take the skirt off? It’s not like I would go naked to a dinner.” She laughed out loud, trying to make sense of her joke but it only made Chris smirk at her with a wink and get inside the lockers, whilst Hugh and Lily burst in to a loud laughter and slapped their hands together, making their way out of the school, leaving Celeste dry and embarrassed. As Lily and Hugh passed down the hallway, towards the exit of the school, the stalker in the hoodie, pulled himself behind the wall and stood still, trying to make himself as invisible as possible, keeping a very keen eye, over each and every move that Celeste made. ----------------------------------------                                  What are your thoughts on Chris?
