Chapter 25
Sean was in the kitchen fixing dinner when a ding drew his attention from the stove. He hadn’t spoken to Erin since the day before, but she was supposed to come over that night. He was done sneaking around with her. He planned to tell Emily they were seeing each other. He hadn’t been interested in moving things to another level with anyone since Angela died, but he was falling for Erin. Between her easy laugh and the way she made him feel, he wanted more.
Thinking the alert was his phone, Sean dug it out of his pocket just in time for it to ding again. His screen was dark, with no notifications.
Another ding and he went in search of Emily’s phone. One of his requirements was that he had access to her phone at all times. He could read her text messages, updates on social media
