Erin rushed into work Monday morning exhausted and smiling. She talked to Sean far too late the night before and slept through her alarm. When she sent him a text about it, he said he did the same and Emily had to wake him up that morning.
Erin was reading the latest text Sean sent her when she walked inside, later than she liked but still well before her first patient. She grinned at the naughty thoughts his words inspired.
She wasn’t paying attention to where she was going and let out an oof when she ran into someone in the hallway outside her office.
