The next day Mrs Cherry went to her childrens room

Mrs Cherry: (she knock and went in) Martha and Matilda wake up, it is already 8am. You are still sleeping (There was no response) Aren't I talking to you? Martha and Matilda wake up ( she hits them, there is still no response,then it dawn's on her that Martha and Matilda are dead) oh! oh! oh! My enemies has struck again. She begins to cry.

Mr Moses: (rushes in) What Cherry? Why are you crying this early morning?

Mrs Cherry: Pointing to her children ( Martha and Matilda). They, they, they are dead,. Martha and Matilda refused to wake up, they are dead. (She was screening and crying heavily).

Mr Moses: It is a lie ( in his mind) I shall have my peace now that I have used two of them to appease my son's angry and roving spirits

Mrs Cherry: My enemies has struck again, they have ruined my life. I have no children and i am almost forty years old. ( She begins to sob).

Mr Moses: The enemies are jealous of my wealth and they will never succeed.

Mrs Cherry: Have they not succeeded? What is life without children?

Mr Moses: Are you already accepting defeat?

Mrs Cherry:(Looking up and raising her hands). God take this wealth away and restore my children to life. We were more happy when we had nothing.

Mr Moses:(Angrily) Woman, what you have just said is an abomination. How can you tell God to take my wealth away. I have always known that you do not want my success.

Mr Cherry: You call this success? Success without children, success without good relationship with people, whenever I pass people, I always hear them say ''I would rather have my son's alive than become wealthy '' Who knows what they will say this time? Now that my two daughters are dead, Moses, you think i don't know you do not sleep at night?

Mr Moses: (Angrily) Woman watch your tongue,

You not the only one who loses all her children,

I am too. (Pretend as if the world has fall on him) crying.

Mrs Cherry: (Sob) I am dead, God help me oh! oh!
