Bryce I leave Tiana to discuss things with her ex’s sister, as I try to find our names on the seat plan upon entering the reception. There I found it. Bryce Andrews, VIP 2 Tatiana Walsh, VIP 2         As I turn to look for our seats, a hand grabs me by the shoulder from behind. I turn around and I find Tiana’s ex, Bryan. “Hey. Can we talk?” He says. I nod and he starts walking towards the front entrance. “Not there. Tiana is talking to your sister.” I tell him. “Oh.” He looks around trying to find a place to talk before he adds, “Let’s go through the back then.” We walk across the length of the glass tent and we exit through the back. It’s an empty grass area but no one could see us from inside because the huge LED wall was blocking the view from inside. Bryan walks to the middle before he turns to face me. I follow him a few steps behind. “I’m Bryan. Tiana’s boyfriend.” He says. “Ex.” I correct him. “I know who you are. Bryce Andrews.” I say as I cross my arms across my chest. “So, Bryce… are you dating Tiana?” He asks. “Not that it’s any of your business. But yes, she asked me to be her date for the wedding.” I replied to him. I was staring at him intently -- the death stare, as my Michael likes to call it. The one I use when I’m trying to get something I want or when I’m extremely pissed. In this case, it was the latter. This guy was getting to my nerves. Why? Because he’s the asshole that hurt Tiana. And because he’s the coward that wouldn’t accept his mistake… and the reason why I couldn’t fully enjoy the weekend with Tiana. f**k. I realized that everything is suddenly about Tiana. She’s getting to me. I think I’m really starting to like this girl more than I’d like to admit. “Not just today. You know what I mean… are you dating her?” He asks again. God, this guy is really becoming pathetic. But on the other hand, it also goes to show how much he still cares for her.  Now I know for a fact that this asshole was regretting what he did to Tiana. Well, too bad for you asshole. “Like I said, it’s none of your business. But don’t worry, I’m not an asshole like you.” I tell him smugly, trying to remind him that it’s his fault that they’ve broken up. I guess he realizes it because he looks down on the grass and paces back and forth. Then, he lets out a chuckle. He lifts his head up back to me and threatens me, “You f*****g better take care of her. Because I’m not ready to give up on her.  And this… whatever you have with her… it’s only because she’s hurting right now. Remember, I’ll always be one step behind you.” He says before he starts to walk back to the tent. It was my turn to chuckle as I watch him go back to the reception. Well… at least the guy knows he’s been an asshole. But my smile quickly fades away as I remember his threat. Was he right? Was this really just a rebound relationship? And am I even really ready to get into a relationship with Tiana? Heck… was she even ready? Or does she even want it? I wasn’t sure either… but I was pretty sure that I didn’t want her to be with Bryan… or any other guy for that matter. I haven’t felt these emotions I was feeling right now… in a long time. I’m brought back to my senses as I hear my phone ringing. It was Tiana. “Hey. Where are you?” She says as I answer the phone. Unknowingly a smile creeps up on my face when I hear her voice. “Hey Darling. Are you in the reception already? I just had to talk to someone. I’ll be there in a bit.” We end the call and I find my way to our table, VIP 2.  I give her a quick peck on her cheek as I sit down beside her. “Hey. How was it?” I asked her about her conversation with Bryan’s sister. “It went better than I expected it to be. At least now Kay understands me.” She says with a smile on her face. “Thank you.” She adds as she holds my hand under the table. I put my other hand on top of hers and I rub it gently as I say, “You’re welcome, darling. You deserve to be happy.” “Where have you been? Work?” She asks. “Actually, no. I talked to Bryan.” I replied. I didn’t want to lie to her. Her eyebrows quickly furrowed and her hand quickly leaves mine as she tries to get up from her seat. I grab her hand and gently pull her closer to me. “It’s okay, Tiana. He was just asking if we were dating.” I tell her. “I’m sorry, Bryce. He doesn’t have the right to ask you those questions.” She said timidly, her eyes darting down. I lift up her chin with my fingers and tell her, “It’s okay, Darling. That’s exactly what I told him.” “But what did you answer him about us… dating? Wait, did you tell him about Vegas?” She asks shyly. But I could see it in her eyes that she was panicking when she realized that I could have told Bryan about Vegas. To be honest, that kind of sucked… it meant that what he thought of her still mattered to her. It also meant that I should stay away from her. Because clearly, I was really starting to like her… and her, well, I’m not sure if I’m anything more than a booty call. But obviously, she’s still hung up on her ex. That was my cue to stay away… but I couldn’t. “I told him, yes, we were dating. But I didn’t tell him that we’re married, if that’s what you’re worried about.” I was watching her intently… trying to see how she would react about me telling her ex that we were dating. She looks back at me intently and smirks, “So, we’re dating, Mr. Bryce Andrews?” “I think we are, Mrs. Bryce Andrews.” I chuckled. Well, good… at least she was okay about me telling Bryan that we were dating. She playfully punches my arm and says, “I’m your wife, only until this weekend. Okay?” I nod. Right. My lawyer keep calling me to remind me to give him those papers. “Well, well. I guess it’s my lucky day! If it isn’t Mr. Bryce Andrews. Perfect.” Valerie purrs as she takes the seat beside me. “Sorry. I had to ask Kylie to make last minute table changes… and it was either here, or we’re seated with Bryan.” Tiana whispers to my ear. I sling my arm behind her chair and I move my face closer to her. I nibble her ear before I whisper. “It’s fine, darling.” f**k, the sight of Tiana’s bare neck and her scent just makes me horny. I instantly feel my pants tightening. As the night goes by, Valerie keeps trying to have a conversation but I ignore her completely. It wasn’t really hard to do because I was completely engrossed in my conversation with Tiana. The more time I spend with her… the more I realize we have a lot of things in common. And apart from being breathtakingly beautiful, she’s really smart and funny. Tiana excuses herself as she gets called to make her speech as the Maid of Honor. I find myself smiling as I watch her and Kylie go from laughing to crying as she makes her speech. Suddenly, I feel a hand moving up and down my thigh. I turn to my left and I find Valerie smirking at me. I glare at her and remove her hand from my thighs. “I’m not interested.” I tell her as I look up to watch Tiana again. But this girl is relentless. I keep ignoring her and removing her hands from me. On the fourth time, she says, “I’m sure I can do you better than her.” Her hands finding their way closer to my crotch as she presses her boobs on my shoulders. “No, you can’t. I’m pretty sure of it.” I tell her as I yank her hand away from me and move my shoulders away from her chest. “Well, you won’t know until you try…” She purrs as she trails her fingernails on my arm. “I don’t need to try. I’m sure of it.” I glare at her. Obviously irked, she presses on. “What does she have that I don’t?” “I love her.”
