Chapter 1 The day Rico walked into my life forever changed me for the better or maybe for the worse, juries still out for deliberation on that I thought to myself. It was a hot and sunny day my friend Pip and I were hanging out on the beach when a tall, dark and handsome fellow caught my attention. How could I not notice him, he was a tall drink of water. Apparently I caught his attention too just by how I carried myself with confidence and my mellow disposition. The more we chatted about all things in life the more we found we had in common. we grew to like each other a lot, but unfortunately I had a boyfriend Alric who at the time to my disliking kind of seemed like he was avoiding me and after a week of this kind of behavior, I had decided to end things with him as soon as I could get a face to face with him. I have never been one to end things via text, to me that's the cowards way out. Once he finally showed up, I surprised him with the "we need to talk" speech that usually means we are breaking up. later on I found out that he was gonna propose but as I told him I would have said no just for the mere fact he wasn't calling or texting ..not even to say I love you or I miss you. I mean come on who does that type of thing, no contact whatsoever and then expects you to just drop whatever and come running when they show up after a week or two of nothing like you mean little to them. After the break up I slowly started seeing Rico. We seemed to be glued to each other more as time passed. ugh, excuse my manners I forgot to introduce myself I'm Cali and this is my story. I am 5'5 of a curvy build, Brunette, blue eyes, and a pretty gal who is also a gamer.
