Mason POV

After Melissa left to visit Tamia, I decided to discuss something I have been keeping from them for days now.

Our lives were finally going on how they should, I did not want anything to distract that but I also understand that keeping secrets from each other is the best way to ruin a good relationship without even trying.

Walking to Theo's mini garden, I spot him watering flowers.

It's funny how he inherited our mother's love for flowers while I inherited my mother's love for White Camellia.

Theo on the other hand loves sunflowers.

Stalking to him, he stopped what he was doing, turned to look at me before he continued watering the flowers.

" Spill the beans already. What's happening?" Theo asked before I could open my mouth and say anything.

" Why do you think I have something to tell you?" I ask despite already knowing the answer.

" Let's drop the questions and go straight to the point. What is the matter? Does it have something to do with Melissa?" Theo asked and I nodded.

He guessed it right. I am worried about Melissa the most.

" Bianca is back to the pack." I drop the bomb but don't see the reaction I expected from my brother.

I thought he would be worried or even afraid like I was but…nothing.

" So?" Theo asked nonchalantly, making me growl at him.

What does he mean by so?

Here I am, fretting and almost peeing on my pants yet all he can say is a f*****g so?

Does he want to drive me crazy?

" What do you mean by that? Do you understand what Bianca coming back means? She can really screw us over." I expressed my concerns and the murderous look Theo gave me spelt trouble and disaster.

" She can screw us over? And who is it that gave her that chance? I told you long before that we should get rid of that woman but you did not listen. You chose to be a two goody shoe and spared her life." My brother yelled at me. I could see the anger written on his face.

I have seen my brother this angry before and that's when he lost himself and did what I was unable to do.

I know that his anger is from the fear of losing our mate.

I am afraid too but this is not the time to point fingers or blame each other.

" That was the only way to keep the pack peaceful. You know her father isn't some regular person. If he decided to take revenge on us, the pack would be implicated." I said, trying to reason with Theo.

" Do you think I give a f**k about that? What people? What Pack? They weren't the ones who almost lost their lives. Do you want me to remind you that we almost died because of her Mason? If you are afraid of a f*****g vampire, I am not. I won't hesitate to snap her neck if anything happens to my mate." My brother declared with a growl.

I can understand my brother's rage.

That woman did mess us up. Pretending to be virtuous and making us fall in Love with her. She then tried to make us fight each other and when it didn't succeed, she tried poisoning us.

Her aim was to kill us and have her lover take over the pack.

Good thing we realised her plan before it was too late and although we tried to end her life, we did not succeed because she was not only a werewolf but a werewolf and vampire.

She is a hybrid and snapping her neck was not enough to kill her.

My brother tried to poison her but I stopped her.

After realising that she was a vampire, we Interrogated her and that's when we found out about her father's identity. Turns out her father is not your normal vampire but the vampire King.

Wielding such powers, how could I have allowed my brother to go ahead and kill her?

That was like going on a suicide mission.

Not only would he be killed, the pack would be implemented. So how could I allow something like that to happen?

With the last persuasion skills, I managed to convince my brother to not pursue the matter anymore.

Bianca also left the country. It's been years now, why would she come back now? When we just found our Mate?

Everything sounds so suspicious.

I know she must be planning something and that something is likely to involve Melissa.

The last thing is to have Melissa suffer from our past.

" I am afraid for Melissa. I don't care about Bianca or her father." I replied.

Whether he believes it at this point, I regret ever stopping him from killing that b***h.

" When did she come back?" Theo asked, making me look away guiltily.

" Ever since you and Melissa left the pack." I replied knowing well that my answer will really anger Theo.

" Unbelievable! She has been around and you are telling me this now?" Theo shouted.

His anger is justified but I just wanted to have a peaceful time with the two of them.

Ever since Melissa came into our lives, I am happy and so is my brother.

After suffering for so many years all by himself, is it so wrong to want him to be happy?

" I did not want to ruin your good mood in the past few days." I replied honestly.

" Don't you realise that by doing that, you are risking what we have with our mate. We never told her about us having a wife at some point in life. If she hears about it from someone else, do you know what that means? Leave alone being happy, we might lose her forever." Theo said and that he said it, I could make sense of his words.

" What do we do now?" I asked, panicked.

" What else can we do? We have to tell her ourselves." Theo said.

Just then my phone pinged indicating I just received a message. Reading the message, my heart stopped beating and I broke in cold sweat.

" It's too late."
