Maybe he was right, this is my world but I have my responsibilities to the other world which housed me for decades.

I know that my words are going to annoy Mason and probably even Theo but that's the truth.

" We already talked about this Melissa." Mason said, his voice low.

" You know my stand on that Mason. Don't try to stop me." I challenged him. It's not like I am asking him to help me in the quest for the truth, I just want to perform my duty as a police officer.

" Calm down, we will talk about this matter when we are all calm." Theo intervened after seeing that I was not going to back out.

" There's nothing to talk about!"
