The Plan

The vehicle had started and they are just waiting for the others to get inside. They are so wet with their sweat and their breathing had been low and hard. The rustic, foul smell is just circling around them and slowly they have been immune to it and they don’t mind anymore. All they want is for them to arrive at that place and some of them are their first time to go there. The Circle is the name of the base where the current rule of Trinity is having his medications and healing, Mr. Wilbert Vicoffs.

He’s the man who obviously doesn’t want anyone to visit him unless it is something urgent and it’s about the group. Most of the members haven’t seen him at all even to have a visit in at the base. He just lived on his own, not with his daughter, in his spacious white room, but together with those tubes and tapes. All they knew is that the leader is currently ill, but they didn’t see the truth somehow. A light had passed over some small holes of the vehicle that let Catheryne view what was happening both inside and outside.

She had seen her hands being wrapped with a thin backcloth forward and her eyes were also blindfolded. They have given her a new pair of clothes and shoes for her to wear and even if it’s a bit larger on her, she still found a way to show her fashion skills. The queen will always be in her reign no matter what. All have heard someone moving towards them and in an instant, the door was open and they heard her speak.

“Are we going now?”

No one had answered her. Instead, one of the guards have entered first and sat beside Isabela, then the other had pushed Devian to be in the middle. When she had settled, the man had closed the door. Captain John will be the one to drive, while Captain Roswal is in the passenger seat. Isabela and the others have discussed and promised to act normal when they’re inside the vehicle.

FEW HOURS BEFORE

“Wake up.” She continuously shook the two. Catheryne had slept inside Isabela’s room as she waited over the hallway when she moved first after the pebble was thrown in that holding room. Mildred had been following them since then when she had arrived inside Trinity silently. She has been precautious and she wanted everything to move according to her plan.

A small groan left Isabela’s mouth and she opened her heavy eyes and literally went big in a drastic manner when she witnessed her first. “The heck are you doing here?! And how did you come inside?”

Mildred rolled her eyes and sprinkled fresh water on them from her plastic bottle. She had quenched her thirst already and she wanted to share it with them in her ways.

“Darn it! S-Stop!” She squealed and lifted herself. She pulled the sheets which had led Catheryne to wake up too. She gently rubbed her eyes to focus. “W-What time is it? I thought we’re going to settle this in the morning-”

“It’s morning, silly. Go get your things. I got a plan for us to do later.”

“But, George is not here-”

She’s been stopped once again not by Mildred but by the doctor. “I’m here. I’m the first one she bothered.” He grabbed a chair and sat, wiping off his shoes.

“Okay. Okay. Give me a minute to fill myself.” Isabela stated and leaned her back on the board. Catheryne did the same thing and when their minds are at rest, they waited and laid the spot to Mildred.

“The two aren’t sleeping yet and I guessed they won’t until the sun will rise. I heard some of their conversations. So, I did my part.” She giggled as she found something amusing.

“What did you do?” George asked her.

“Well, I just made those tires flat and got their engines…well, let’s say, they stop working and needed to be changed…or those who are using them should be the ones to be changed.” Now she’s laughing and made a toast with her bottle. “They are going to prepare by three and got the woman with them after thirty minutes. It’s still 1 am. We still got time to prepare too.” She pointed to Isabela. “I felt one car for you to use. You’re going to tell them that you have fixed it and that you’re going with them using that car.

“They’re not going to let me. We all know that.”

“You’re going to do everything to convince them. It’s your only chance and if you can’t, then it will be the end of us. We need to get in the Circle before the case will be in your father.” She continued.

“You still didn’t explain why we need to do this and why you’re so fervent in laying this plan when it’s connected to my father.”

“You’ll find out if we’ll make it there. When you’ll start to talk with the men, we’ll go inside the car and hide ourselves. Victoria will be the one to help us with the things that we need. She’s also coming with us. By the time that we will arrive, you’ll go ahead first with them and we’ll take another route. Let’s meet in the very first corner that you’ll notice. And oh, make sure that you’ll be the one to bring the case. Not them. It will surely be a hunting ground for us.”

“What about the two captains?”

“I’m going to lure them. ‘ll give you the plan b when we arrive. We’re going to use it when things didn’t go well. Your father might be watching every action that we take and just a wrong move, we will lose everything.”

“It looks like that you’re pointing the fault to my father.” Isabela couldn’t contain it anymore as she could see where they were leading.

“Yes. You’re right. Unluckily, all my thoughts are pointing at him. There are no personal issues here, princess. I hope you can get that. The only thing that we need to do is to prove that he’s not guilty of anything.”

Isabela fiercely grabbed her. “If you’re going to do anything stupid against my father, know that my weapon will land on you first.”

“I know.” She slowly tapped her hand. “And if my accusations are right, I’ll do everything to stop it, whether it’s your father or anyone.”

The tension can be seen by everyone but in the long run, it will be their fuel on tracks.
