Another names were added on his list. It is the list of those people that he had taken their lives. Somehow, he wanted to remember them even if he doesn’t know them at all. His soul has already been tainted and when it is his time, Ashton knows well where he is going. He blinked several times to concentrate on what was staring at him at the moment. It is an angel figurine which is holding her sharp, set in the middle of the table. Its white color had already turned into pale grey as it hasn’t been cleaned since the day that their caretaker, Merile Mourielle Grace, had decided to take her own quest in finding her five-year-old daughter. He loved her and he had considered the woman as her mother. Twirling his fork over his meal – well-fried egg and peanut butter. His stomach growled in hunger but his plate isn’t even full to serve him well. Still, he enjoyed every bite of it. A low cough came out from his behind. “Never stare at your food for too long.” He commanded and took his rest on the next chair. He wiped his finger on the remaining peanut butter on his plate and licked it. “That’s tasty.” “You can have it if you want.” Ashton replied and moved the plate in his direction. “Nah. It’s obviously the same thing that we eat almost every day. Somehow, I want to go hunting or fishing near the river, but that group is out of our sight. Do you have information about them now?” He crossed his legs. “I did. But you know the drill.” He signalled him to hand over something. Alejandro couldn’t believe that they would still remember their agreement. He slowly pulled a worn-out brown bag with a yellow string that is locking it. Ashton rapidly grabbed it and placed it on his lap. Unlocking it, his eyes went large and sparkled. He took them in full hands and the shimmering gems have been lighted. Alejandro is a wealthy man and he couldn’t deny that he got these collections of jewelries coming from different countries. He got a box full of it and now it had turned as a payment for the service of Ashton. He laughed victoriously and patted his master on the head. “I’m lucky to have you.” “Of course. There’s no other one to pay you this much just to get those personal files of our enemies. So, lay it over. You got all my ears now.” “Remember the one who the woman had recruited before to join her force?” “Oh, that barking one. Yes. If I recall it clearly, she’s the one who got really affected when the case was taken from them. She’s clearly not my type. She would just break my eardrums or fill me with the audacity to mock my leadership.” “You’re no good leader anyway.” He blunted.” He punched him slightly and laughed. “That’s a bluff.” Alejandro shook his finger and poked him on his temple. “If I’m not good, you should have already left this place. You got those standards, which I specifically met.” He added with pride on his lips. “That woman had left the north and went back to Trinity, only that I found out that she got something…I could consider it valuable since its history. In precise, she talked to them back. Well, she’s still vigilant even if she had come home since she’s now being seen as a traitor. She got a conversation with the queen too and it’s all about what happened in the past. And…I think they’re planning to make an agreement with you too.” The man rubbed his nose as it was feeling itchy. In fact, Alejandro felt that the thing he was hiding will be unraveled soon enough before they could successfully get that case back. It is like a game where the game master is the one holding that thing and tight now it is Trinity. "What happened to the north after we were halted in meeting Devian?" "They were attacked by Trinity. It's that time that they have taken it. After a couple of days that woman left too. I don't have much information about that group but now I got their official name - New League." He continued and examined the tattoo that was on his wrist. "We already losing it, that time when the Ethernal was taken away. Everything had gone to mess." Now, both of them could feel the tension that was surrounding them in the living room. It's midnight and the weather is still in no condition. The rain didn't stop and rather had gone strong. Stirring his now called tea, he removed his tie. "Having an ally like the queen is. a great catch for us and I know that the others have also realized that, especially that New League." "What's really the main reason why you're so obsessed with the alliance?" "That weapon...they are building underneath is not just a tale that we have heard before. They are really making it. It is either they would decide to use it for security or to end this catastrophe. I've seen some of them visiting those junkyards to find some parts and even got to the electric shops." He stood from his chair and went to grab a crumpled sheet that was already dried from the spill of the coffee yesterday. He carefully spread it on top of the desk and drew something using a coal. When he's done, he raised his hands, almost hitting Ashton in the face."We need to find this. Power is our new goal. Still, don't let that woman and her group lure you to anything. We don't know when they will attack or would have a partnership with us. Being a crasher has been his forte. He just loved to be in everything that is going on around him even if he won't be recognized. He is a hunter with such deadliest eyes that could watch his prey all day in the image of his assistant, Ashton. He held him by the shoulder. "You need to find it. It's the only way for us to stay still. With it, we're untouchable." ___ He looked at his drained reflection from the shattered mirror inside his room. His eye was covered and even if his sight is not complete, he remained calm and He decided to take the attic to become his personal place, a say from the noise and it would give him the rest with such scenery of the park a few meters away from the house. The others were gathered in the largest room in the place where they held their meeting most of the time and eat in groups. Unlike the other organizations, its members don't remain in a single location but are all scattered. Alejandro wanted them to do their personal stuff still even in the surge. The only thing that they needed not to forget is their responsibility to the organization. Every Monday and Friday, they would gather around and talk things out; report anything that they could find. And, when someone is planning to betray, he will be hunted which is easily done by Ashton himself. In fact, their rules are not that strict, but they should remain anonymous and never confess about the Howard. Tailing the Trinity had worn him out lately. He just started to do it for two weeks now and he doesn't have any clue on when he would stop. "He should go out and might try what I'm doing." He made some faces when he felt irritated by the new quest. He pulled his socks with force and dumped them on the side. "I even got no time to wash myself and now he wanted me to find another one. I should get an award for being the busiest one here." He moved his shoulders up and down and did some reflexes. He prepared his bed and slowly laid down after he felt at ease. Taking a bore, Ashton is about to take his nap when he heard the man called his name again. A couple of times! Scratching his nape in misfortune, he forced himself to rise and sluggishly moved outside. "Yeah, I might pass a resignation paper after this." He whispered. Going out, he saw him in his red apron in the kitchen. "Change your clothes, we're going to meet someone in about an hour." He uttered without looking at him and was focused on making potato salad. "Who will it be?" "You'll see her when you do what I'm asking. Also, make yourself presentable. She doesn't like filthy men."
