Chapter 9: KerstinShe slept deeply and without dreams for the first time in many months. Breakfast at the hotel was complimentary and nothing to brag about. Coffee so awful she switched to tea after one cup, a basket of very basic fruit and some pastries drenched in a sugary glaze as well as toast and jam, but Kerstin lingered over her banana in order to people-watch. As it was not holiday season, she saw mostly businessmen who all descended on the meager offerings at about the same time and then headed out together.
