MIKE'S POV
I entered the office to meet Conrad in a bad mood. He paced back and forth in the office, his brow furrowed with worry.
“What's the problem Alpha?” I asked with concern.
“The package that was supposed to be delivered to the black sheep has gone missing,” Conrad said with worry.
“I don't understand which of the packages” I asked, confused.
“The two girls we were supposed to deliver to the black sheep for the ritual” Conrad said and continued
“One of the girls escaped and the black sheep needs its delivery in two days”Conrad said, gulping his hard liquor in one goal.
“What do you mean one escaped, where was the guards” I asked
“I don't know, Mick, I'm confused, we're in serious trouble,” Conrad said.
“Where are we going to get a replacement” Conrad asked and continued
“It took us months to come up with a suitable and strategic plan for this mission. Now this happens we can not get another girl and not to forget a virgin at that for the ritual, it's impossible to get a girl now except we want to get caught” He said to me pouring himself another hard liquor.
“I don't know what to do now Conrad this is a huge mess” I said breathing out loudly.
The Black sheep is not to be messed with if anything goes wrong me and Conrad we have our heads on a spike. And we can't afford any mistakes or unwanted attention. We have to get this package back or find a replacement.
Then an evil Idea struck me. Why keep a Dog, when you can make a fortune out of it. I turned to Conrad and said.
“Don't worry, trust me on this, I will find a replacement.” I said
I approached Conrad and I assured him that I will get a replacement and I moved out from the office quickly.

The morning sun painted the sky soft hues of pink and gold as Miranda sat quietly in my brand new car in the passenger seat.
The gentle hum of the engine filled the silence between us as we made our way through familiar streets towards the bus stop where she would meet a friend who would help with the job but little did she know the plan changed a long time ago or it wasn't the plan at all.
As I drove the car further, I took a sharp turn to an unfamiliar road, away from the usual route to the bus stop.
Confusion creased Miranda's forehead, and a sense of unease crept over her. She glanced at me, her heart rate picking up, wondering why I was going in the wrong direction.
“Uncle, where are we going?” she asked
“The bus stop is the other way” Miranda said her voice laced with concern, her voice tinged with worry.
I smiled reassuringly, my eyes meeting hers in the rearview mirror.
“Oh don't worry, sweetheart. I just remembered I need to make a quick stop before we head to the bus stop. It's won't take long I promise” I said reassuring her
But Miranda couldn't shake off the feeling of apprehension. Thought raced through her mind and suspicion gnawed in her face.
Anxious and unsure, she hesitated, torn between voicing her fears and trusting her uncle's words.
I noticed the anxiousness in her face and voice. I had to look for another excuse or she would start suspecting me anytime from now.
We approached a familiar house, I pulled over and turned to her giving her a comforting smile.
“See there is my friend's place. They're heading to the same place as you, so I thought it wise for you to go along with them and travel together. Nothing to worry about” I explained in a gentle and reassuring tone.
Relief flooded through the young girl as she realized her intentions were indeed innocent. I was also relieved that she bought my lies. I came down from the vehicle and headed into the house, Miranda tailing me from behind as we entered the house.
She saw a group of men standing in the shadows, and their faces unreadable.
Alpha Conrad stepped out from the dark. And his face was laced with surprise.
“Alpha” Miranda voiced with surprise.
Conrad smiled at her and took me outside the house, leaving Miranda behind.
“When you said a replacement you didn't say your niece” Conrad said
“Nothing to worry about,” I said, reassuring him.
“You are selling your niece Mike, don't you understand, what about her mom?” Conrad said with worry and anxiety laced in his voice.
“Oh come on, don't try to play the worry card here, she is nothing to me you know that, instead of her wasting away in this pack she might as well bring us some good cash” I said firmly.
“Would you prefer the Black sheep have your head or be grateful for the replacement that I have brought you” I said to him.
“As for her mother I paid for her hospital bills as for Ariana, Miranda's mother she is as go as dead and her brain is fried with stroke, there is no need to develop Cold feet” I said
“Mike, how wicked can you be?” he said while laughing.
“But I'm taking the bigger share from this deal” I said firmly in reminder.
Conrad nodded in agreement, and we entered back into the house.
Miranda was frozen in disbelief as my deceit unfolded before her eyes. What was promised as a simple job opportunity has turned into a nightmare she could never have imagined.
“What's going on?” Miranda asked, her eyes widened in fear as she saw another girl not much older than herself looking equally terrified.
Panic and confusion gripped her as she realized the depth of my betrayal.
“Uncle please I'm begging please, Alpha, Alpha Conrad” she kept calling aloud.
She pleaded with a trembling voice refusing to step into the van. Her protests fell on deaf ears as strong arms roughly seized her, ignoring her struggles and pleas, and threw her into the van with the other girl. She began to hit the van door with her strength but the door didn't bulge.
