Jason POV
I am starving but hesitant to enter the private dining room. I am standing in the doorway looking at Mason and Carina. Last night’s revelation is still stuck in my mind, and it is hard to believe that these seemingly normal people are wolves.
Regardless of what is happening with their DNA, I have never seen a couple more in love than the two of them. They are constantly touching and cuddling each other. My stomach growls, causing Mason and Carina to look my way and I have no choice but to join them.
“Did you get any sleep, Jay?” Carina smiles.
“I’m happy that my discomfort brings you so much joy,” I grunt, reaching for the toast.
