EVE. Saint just stood at the foot of the bed, arms folded, eyes locked on me with that unholy calm, like I was a puzzle he was in no rush to solve. I felt like death itself was sizing me up. Then he finally spoke again. "I told myself, if I ever saw you again... I wouldn't say a word." He paused and tilted his head. "...Just let you scream while I took back everything you stole. Inch by inch." He circled to the side of the bed, running a finger along the leather restraint like he was checking the tension on a violin string. Then his voice turned softer and even deadlier. "But look at you. Right here. In my bed. Tied like a f*****g gift." He lowered his face to mine, and I could feel his cold breath. "The Goddess made it too easy, Eve." I tried to look away. "Look at me," he said
