It was still dark when Heather first heard voices. With the loud drone and the unfamiliar surroundings, it took her a moment to figure out where she was. When her head cleared, she recognized the small, claustrophobic bunk space onboard the Gianna Maria. Gianna Maria. Matt was already standing and dressed. He winked at Heather as she stretched out and swung her legs over the side of the bunk. She had bedded down in a purple sweat suit, which wouldn’t embarrass her in front of the all-male crew.
