“Did the killer whales freak out the dolphins?” Heather asked.
“No,” said Matt. “They panicked when they saw the false killer whales. I don’t think they’ve seen the real killer whales, yet.”
Matt looked completely depressed. Looking at the surrounded dolphins, Heather easily understood why. She wouldn’t want to be in their situation. The concept of another creature patiently waiting to eat you was very disturbing.
What was even more disturbing was how well the dolphins knew what was going on. Not only the dolphins, but the false killer whales who appeared to be mocking them from beyond the nets.
