After porpoising most of the day, Pheyus and Shayla stopped for a rest. Their almost continuous echo shocks brought back nothing significant, so for the time being, they felt safe. For Pheyus, even though the waters around them held no predators, the tension was continuing to build. The water was eerie in a way he found hard to fathom.
