Chapter 32

Nora POV

We arrive back at the hotel and Jared and Nate are waiting in the underground parking lot to help with all the bags.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” Jared teases and he receives a smack on his upper arm from Nate.

“Don’t mind him, he’s just jealous because he’ll be sleeping alone tonight.” Nate laughs as he grabs two bags from the trunk.

“Hey! Who says I’ll be sleeping alone tonight? Just because you can’t get yourself a girl doesn’t mean I don’t get laid every night.” Jared mocks his younger brother, grabs two other bags and throws one over his shoulder.

“Don’t exaggerate, please.” Colin sighs and rolls his eyes, making all of us burst out laughing. Oh I love how they get along with each other. When I look at them I get flashbacks of how my brother Jason used to play with me. Although he’s eight years older than me he always spent time with me, playing tea-time and stuff. I still don’t know why he left me all these years ago.

“Are you coming, baby doll?” Colin’s words pull me back to the present and that’s when I realise I was still standing next to his SUV while they’re holding the elevator for me.

“Sorry.” I blush and I head to the elevator. We go all the way up to Colin’s penthouse and once the doors open the guys go straight to Colin’s bedroom. I follow them and see them coming out of the walk-in closet.

“Don’t worry, it has a second door on the other side which leads to the guest bedroom.” Colin says as he sees my facial expression of slight panic. I let out a deep breath and walk into the closet, my eyes almost balling out of my head. This is huge! Colin leans against the doorframe.

“I thought you would like to organise your stuff by yourself so I made some space for you. Use it, and feel free to use the cabinets in the guest bathroom to store your make-up.”

I walk to him and put my arms around his waist.

“Thank you.” I stand on my toes to kiss him.

“And thank you guys for helping.” I pass Colin and walk to his brothers.

“You’re welcome, Nora.” Nate smiles.

“Yes, no thanks. And if you’re getting sick of my brother, feel free to come down to my place.” Jared grins and I raise my eyebrow at him.

“That won’t be necessary.” Colin says in his dominant tone. Jared puts his hands up in defense and turns around before he walks away to the living room, Nate following right after him. Suddenly I feel two arms being wrapped around my waist. I turn around in Colin’s embrace and wrap my arms around his neck. He kisses me softly but soon we’re feeling each other’s tongue and the kiss turns into a make out session.

“You’re still down for this?” Colin asks as I pull away. I nod my head and smile at him.

“Thank you for giving me my own space.” I give him a small kiss.

“You’re welcome. But remember, there will always be room for you in my bed.” He says seductively.

“I know, maybe I’ll use that space sometime.” I run my fingers through his hair and he closes his eyes.

“Come on, I’m hungry.” I chuckle and walk away. Jared and Nate are hanging on the couch, watching a series on Netflix.

“So, what are we going to eat?” I plop down next to Nate and he looks confused at me.

“What do you mean, we?”

“Well, what do you want to eat? My treat.” I smile.

“Oh, some chinese food sounds good.” Jared licks his lips and I look at Nate and Colin, who both shrug in approval.

“Chinese it is then, will you order it?” I ask Jared and he grabs his phone immediately to place the order for delivery. We wait for the delivery to arrive and in the meantime we watch some Netflix.

“Don’t you have some unpacking to do, Nora?” Nate asks.

“I’ll do it tomorrow, I would like to just enjoy my first evening here.”

Jared gets a notification that our food is downstairs so I grab my wallet and give him some money to pay for the food. He hesitates for a moment but accepts the money as he sees me glaring at him. A few minutes later he arrives back at Colin’s penthouse and we decide to just eat around the coffee table. Nate and Jared want to know about my first day working for Colin and through the conversation I get to know that they both have a company of their own too. Jared owns ‘DAVIES CONSTRUCTION’ and Nate owns ‘DAVIES TRANSPORT’. So basically it all starts with Colin, who makes the plans. Then those plans come to Jared, who executes them and Nate provides the materials. They own the hotel and club all together equally. No wonder they don’t lose any sleep over money. As it gets late Jared and Nate get up to go to their own place and I get off the couch to give them a hug.

“I just want you to know, Nora. I may look like all fun and games but I was being serious this afternoon. If you have any trouble with my big bro you just have to call me and I’ll come kick his ass.” Jared reassures me and somehow it gives me a warm feeling.

“Thank you.” I mutter and pull him into another hug. After that Nate wraps his arms around me too and hugs me tight.

“You’ll be in good hands here.”

“I know.” I whisper back. Honestly, this feels so good. I haven’t felt this warmth in a long time, not since my mom passed away.

“I think that’ll be enough.” Colin glares at the both of us with a slanted smile and his arms crossed. I let go of Nate and walk back to Colin with blushing cheeks. I wave them goodbye as Jared and Nate disappear behind the closing elevator doors.

“Well, what do you want to do now?” Colin asks me.

“Hmm, I think I’m gonna put my clothes away anyway and then take a shower.”

“There’s a shower in the guest bathroom but you can also take a bath if you like, you can use my bathtub.” Colin looks at me with his beautiful eyes and I melt away.

“Sounds like a good plan.”

“Why don’t you take care of your clothes, I will run the bath for you.”

“That sounds even better.” I turn around to go in the closet and put my stuff away. I lay apart a brazillian boxer and a long t-shirt to sleep in, to put on when I get out of bath. Just as I hang up the last dress Colin appears in the doorway, leaning against the frame.

“Your bath is ready, Mrs. Young.” He says like he’s my butler and it makes me laugh. I follow him into his bathroom and the smell of lavender is spreaded all over it. I’ve only been in his bathroom once and I’ve only used his shower and toilet so I look around to see where his bathtub is in this huge room.

“Around the corner.” It’s like Colin can read my mind and I blush as I walk through his bathroom. And indeed, around the corner there’s a large bathtub built half into the floor and with a window up to the ceiling, giving a magnificent view of the stars in the night sky. Colin has put candles around the edge and a lot of bath foam, so the water is topped with bubbles.

“Wow, this is amazing.” I gasp and I run my hand through the water to feel it’s the right temperature.

“You deserve it. I’ll leave you alone, enjoy your time.” Colin kisses my temple and leaves the bathroom. I put my clothes on the counter and throw my hair up in a messy bun on top of my head so my hair doesn’t get wet. I brought my cleanser and cotton pads with me to take off my make-up before I get in the tub. Soft cotton towels are waiting for me on a small bench next to the top. I get in the tub and let myself sink into the hot, lavender scented water and rest my head against the small cushion on the edge. I could get used to this, this view is amazing. I close my eyes and let my thoughts wander off as my whole body relaxes. I guess I have fallen asleep for a moment because I scare awake from a knock on the door.

“Nora, are you okay in there?”

“Yeah, you can come in.”

I hear the door open and footsteps coming closer. I gather some bubbles to cover my body and little bit.

“I’m sorry, I fell asleep for a moment.”

Colin chuckles and kneels next to the tub. He runs his fingers through the water, making little waves on the surface.

“If you want me to leave, you just have to tell me and I’ll go wait in the living room.” He says as he keeps his gaze on my face, not even bothering to let his eyes get a glance of my body in the water.

“It’s not like you haven’t seen me naked yet, it’s okay.” I laugh. I’m not going to deny that it does certain things with me to lay here, naked in his bathtub with him sitting next to it and playing with the water, his fingers so close to my skin.

“You said you want to take things slowly and I want to respect that.”

He really is so gentle. Not like all the other guys I’ve dated in the past. I feel safe with him, and respected. I lean forward and lay my hand on his cheek.

“Thank you.” I whisper before I put my lips on his, kissing him softly. Colin uses his hand cup some water and let it run down my back and shoulders.

“You want to watch a movie together?” He asks and I nod my head.

“Can you hand me a towel please?”

He gets up and unfolds a large towel, holding it in front of him. I hesitate for a second but then I remember myself that I just told him that it doesn’t bother me because he’s seen me naked already. And he said he wants to respect me and my choice whether I want to take things to the next level or not. It’s not that I don’t want to, because something about him makes me h*rny as f*ck but I don’t want to come off easy and I have to admit that I like the teasing. I step out of the bathtub and Colin wraps the towel around me as he gives me a quick kiss.

“I’m going to take a quick shower, you can pick out a movie already. I’ll be with you in ten minutes.” He says and he starts to take off his clothes while I dry myself off. I’m standing with my back pointed to the shower but in the reflection of the mirror I catch a glance of his muscular, tattooed body and his business of pleasure. His muscles move smoothly under his skin as he washes his hair and body. I can’t believe I moved in with this god-shaped man. I put on my ‘pajamas’ and go to the living room where I plop down the couch and grab a blanket to snuggle under. A few minutes later Colin shows up in the living room, wearing sweatpants. He grabs some snacks and drinks from the kitchen and snuggles next to me under the blanket. When he looks at me, I chuckle and start laughing sneakily.

“Tell me you didn’t pick out some corny rom-com?” He pinches the bridge of his nose.

“Oh hell yeah I did.” I say enthusiastic.

“Only because it’s you.” He sighs, putting his arm around me and I snuggle into his chest.
