Chapter 19
Joshua returns to the Kingdom
Joshua turned his back and began to walk toward the top of the mountain ridge. Brad was the first to take note of him.
"Where is he going?" Carla asked first while Brad stared. "He loved Sarah," Samantha sighed. "I'm guessing he needs some lone time and is very upset," she suggested as they watched his back become more and more distant from them.
Joshua arrived at the top of the ridge and stopped. He looked at the horizon and could see the sun starting to set. The rays of the sun hit his eyes tenderly, and he squinted. He looked down upon the ravine noting the drop was no less than a thousand feet. Below a river flowed rapidly.
