Chapter Eight“We should set off soon,” Jon Stokes was pacing the living room, “the traffic might be busy and we don't want to be late.” He adjusted his t-shirt for the fifth time this morning, then ran a hand through his hair, “shall I put on a shirt?” Ann shook the magazine she was reading, “why? You look perfectly fine as you are.” “I want to make a good impression.” “He's a twelve-year old boy Jon,” Ann replied with a sigh, “I don't think he's going to judge you on your dress sense.” “He might,” Jon perched on the chair next to Ann, “some of my best dressed clients are teenage boys and they can be very critical of appearances.” Ann's attention was back on the magazine article.
