“You lied to me!” I yelled at him from the back of his mind while he was madly running in the woods. There was no other explanation for the situation. As soon as we marked her, she was supposed to feel the pull of bond. She was supposed to recognize me as her mate. A true mate would not agree to rejection that easily, no matter the circumstances. Yet, she acted like she couldn’t wait to get rid of me. It shocked me to such a high level that I could not control myself. I was so angry that I started to throw chairs.
