Chapter 7The date had ended with a chaste and oh-so-chaperoned kiss. Ho-f*****g-hum. Back in our hotel room, Curtis and Justine were already fast asleep. A whole field of crickets couldn’t have drowned out the snoring coming from the other bed. Matty and I were on our side of things, once again face to face. He put his index finger over his lips and pointed at Curtis. Meaning, I had to be careful what I said. If Curtis was now an unsuspecting spy, even while sleeping, it wasn’t safe for us.
