Vanya listened in.
There was only one route back from the Royal Restaurant. If Genevieve had returned, she would have crossed paths with Elliot's car. It seemed the situation was genuinely serious.
Did Melinda harm Genevieve?
She frowned—Melinda wouldn't act so hastily, not after just meeting her.
Cliff ended the call and said to Vanya, "Go take a shower. Don't worry about the rest."
Before he finished speaking, his phone received a text, "To save Miss Watkins, prepare ten million in cash first! No police involvement!"
Then, the kidnappers sent a location.
Vanya glanced at the text and calmly said to Cliff, "You're going personally, aren't you?"
She knew Genevieve's disappearance wouldn't be taken lightly by Veronica—she wouldn't just dispatch people to search.
