Genevieve grasped Veronica's hand and said, "Madam Todd, Alpha Cliff does have a point... don't blame him."
Veronica took a deep breath and said, "Everyone's exhausted today. Let's all get some rest."
With that, she turned to Cliff, "Cliff, stay behind."
Cliff whispered to Vanya, "Go upstairs and wait for me. I'll be right there."
"Okay," Vanya said without another word and headed upstairs.
At that moment, Genevieve stood up and said, "Luna Vanya is hurt. I'll get the first-aid kit."
She quickly went to the first-floor room to fetch the kit.
Vanya ignored her and continued upstairs.
A moment later, Genevieve arrived upstairs with the first-aid kit and looked at Vanya, apologizing, "It's all my fault that Luna got hurt..."
