A day of revelations

DAVID'S POV

I looked at my angel with lots of love and emotions.She was shocked at first when I kissed her but when I was pulled away she looked angry and then composed herself.I knew that she is my Siya the moment I saw her.Holding her in my arms and feeling her lips left no room for doubt.She was still as beautiful as she used to be wearing the white wedding dress,but she was no longer the petite girl I knew.She had put on weight, but not in a bad way which showed that she had matured in these 4 years.

Thinking  of which, made me fume in anger at Ian who had taken her away from me and hid her well.Right now,all I wanted was to strangle him to death.But what confused me was the way he claimed her to be his sister.Today was a day of revelations.It was evident that Ian belonged to the Knight family,a powerful and rich family known to be rich enough to buy more than half of the world.Dominique Knight was a  powerful and dangerous businessman.No one dared to mess with him.Now I know why Ian had hidden the whereabouts of his family and even concealed his surname.But that doesn't give him the right to take away my angel from me.Of course,for two years he was in misunderstanding that I tried to harm her,but even after knowing the truth and also seeing me suffering from her loss he  never once thought of telling me that she was alive and safe.I had blamed myself time and again and still do for her sufferings.But Ian...never had I thought that he would be this sadistic to see me go through the pain of missing her from my life.I punched him in anger and didn't regret it at all.He deserved to be punched for hiding the truth.The man who punched me,I suppose was his brother who had also punched him accusing him of inviting me and destroying their sister's wedding.From the looks of his family members it was clear that they knew who I was and the way Ian's dad questioned him confirmed my doubts.Maybe the Knight family was powerful and richer than me,but they can't domineer me.Siya belongs to me,not just in this lifetime but forever.I just love her too much, that one lifetime isn't long enough to spend with her.And I intend to keep her with me forever,even if this new family of her doesn't let me.I have made up my mind that if I leave this country that will only be with my angel.I glared at Ian aka Davian Knight with determination.

Ian's POV

"Oh,hell's bells and buckets of blood"-What is wrong with these people?Punching me like I'm some f*****g public property.And bloody David,who instead of thanking me punched me like anything and is currently glaring at me.Ok,I admit I deserve both of those punches but what is my fault here.I was looking out for my cupcake.I can't let her marry a guy who loves someone else and destroy her life.I know my sister too well,she will never love anyone other than this ape.Even though she hates him now,she will forgive him after she knows the truth.Ok now David fans here don't blame me for not telling the truth to my cupcake the moment I got to know of it.I have my reasons.One of it is that my cupcake has grown into a stubborn,cold hearted,I don't care about the person with the name David type of woman.She simply refused to listen to me or walk away at the mere mention of that moron's name.And second is my dad and Damien.My dad threatened me that he would destroy David if I tell his truth to my cupcake.And I didn't want  that.Also I wanted Vina to groom herself and achieve something in life.And I made sure that she will not marry Darian at any cost.That's why I invited David to this wedding.But don't ask me why I waited for the last moment.If you want the reason then it's simply because I am Davian Addington Knight and I love drama.

      Sometimes I wonder whether my mom adopted Damien and dad,because they behave like the typical evil step dad and step brother from the fairy tales who try to lure me back into the family business and trap me there.And when I refused, my dad threw me out of the house.Well I don't care about that.I am a talented actor with face value.Well enough of my whining.Now you may be wondering how my cupcake became my sister suddenly.It all started when I saw Siya at Drew's party.She reminded me of her....my cupcake, my Davina.It triggered a lot of memories after all those years.

The disastrous love story of my parents started when my dad  attended my mom's wedding ceremony with her fiance Jacob Stewart.It was love at first sight for him.My dad forced my mom to marry him on her wedding day in front of her fiance on gunpoint.They had ups and downs in their love story and finally when my mom discovered that Jacob  never loved her and had been pretending all along just to get her property,she was devastated.But my dad who was smitten by my mom at the first sight itself,was there for her as her pillar through out  and soon she fell in love with him.And their love resulted in Damien and one and a half years years later a handsome and cute boy was born who was none other than me.Damien and I were truly brothers because all our play ended up in punches and destruction.Not that we didn't love each other,but we were just being boys.And that's when I started yearning for a baby sister.When I requested my parents they just laughed it off.But I  kept on praying and when I was almost four my wish was granted in the form of my baby sister, my cupcake,my Davina.She was special to us brothers because she was our little sister.We both pampered her and loved her.But I loved her more than anything in the world and I had sweared to protect her from all evil at such an young age.Even she was named after me,because I buttered my mom to find her a name similar to mine and my mom jumbled the letters of my name and had named her Davina.My dad and Damien were over protective of my Vina.We were living a happy life until the fateful day my Vina turned three.Our loving family was destroyed when Jacob Stewart,my mom's ex fiance kidnapped Vina and went absconding.My mom and dad were devastated by the loss of their only daughter.And both of us brothers were crying and praying for the well being of our  little sister.Our dad used all the power and resources he had to track Jacob down,but all went in vain.But my dad didn't lose heart,he kept on searching for his precious daughter and had finally managed to track him down.But what he found at the place shocked him beyond imagination.Lying on a pool of blood was my sister's body fully battered beyond recognition and the kidnapper was no where to be found.The DNA analysis of the body showed that it was indeed our Davina.My dad who was a cold arrogant man in front of the world broke down while my mom was traumatized by the loss of her lovely baby.And Damien and me mourned the loss of our sister silently seeing our parents'agony.Our life was never the same again.Dad slipped into severe depression thinking that he was at fault for his daughter's death.And mom too was in distress but being the strong woman she was, she gathered herself and helped us all to fight the grief and overcome the trauma we faced by losing our beloved Davina.Dad found out that Jacob was in the US and he went there to avenge his daughter ,but he was too late.By the time he reached US ,Jacob died in a car accident and that was the end of it.Time passed by soon and Damien being the ideal son started managing dad's business.I being the prodigal son chose to be an actor which my dad loathed.According to him actors are devoid of any character.But my mom supported my dreams.When my sister in law came,she was an additional blessing because Isabella and me clicked fast and now I had equal members to oppose dad and Damien.Damien was exactly like dad,arrogant and cold hearted but at the same time loved his wife to the end of the world.Eventhough our lives had changed,the one thing that remained same was the memories of my cupcake.I had seen my dad cry looking at her cute pictures most of the times when he was at home.All three of us had dad's blue eyes.Damien was a spitting image of dad and I looked like my mom,but Davina had features of both of them.

When I saw Siya at the party,I was shocked to see how her eyes were blue just like mine and she instantly reminded me of my cupcake.I even doubted that she was my Vina,but I brushed it off since that was impossible.I befriended her only because she looked like my Davina and had this instant feeling to protect her .But then I noticed that she was such a pure soul.When Andrew proposed her ,I felt happy for her.I was constantly taking her name everytime I talked to my mom.My mom was happy that I was being friendly to atleast someone. When I went to Italy and informed her about Siya's marriage to Drew and told her that she reminded me of Vina,she was both sad and happy.She instantly picked out an expensive necklace from her collection and asked me to gift it to Siya since I considered her as my sister.

But things changed when Drew ditched her and she was forced to marry David.That was when I came to know about Siya's adoptive family.The moment I knew that Siya was adopted,I hired a PI to investigate the Parker family because I became suspicious.But for almost 5 months nothing came out of the investigation and I was equally messed up with the turn of events in Siya's life.Then I told my suspicion to mom and she flew down to Vegas to confirm my doubts.The moment she saw Siya ,she also felt the same because she resembled Davina.And the accident that happened at the Mr.Brown's party helped us a lot.Eventhough we were shocked thinking that we could have lost her,we were happy that she was saved by David.We deliberately took her to the hospital so that we could run a DNA test on her although we felt wrong for doing that to her.

For the next two weeks I was tensed mostly because my PI got some proofs regarding the distant cousin of Crystal Parker who had given Siya to the Parker family.He died in an accident and had never returned for Siya.The cousin was none other than my Davina's kidnapper Jacob Stewart.He had planned the kidnap very well and also faked the death of my sister without raising any suspicion.Someone in the Italian police force also help him serve his purpose.The DNA report was out and it confirmed that she was indeed our Davina. All these time I was avoiding my cupcake unable to face her.What will she think?Will she blame us for not protecting her?Will she accept us as her family?Or will she hate us for the sufferings she had faced from childhood because of our negligence.As a brother ,I felt that I had failed her.My mom was so happy to know that Siya was indeed our Vina.But she didn't inform dad and Damien as she knows their impulsive behaviour.The problem was that Siya had already fallen in love with David and forgiven him.She was getting the happiness that she deserved after so many years.Mom and I didn't want to ruin it for her.We were happy for her and decided to give her some space and wanted to tell her about us when she was more settled and resolved in her affairs with David and his family so as to not create anymore chaos in her  life.But what we didn't know was that one wrong decision would shatter Siya's life miserably and give it a 360 degree turn.
