For those who didn't like Davina's character I would say just give some time for the character to evolve and let me tell u she doesn't have a bitchy character..in the introduction it is said that she is like a mirror. 

Davina's POV

Family ...a feeling of togetherness even when you are away .Family...a feeling that keeps you going in your loneliness,Family...a warmth that covers you on knowing that you have someone to love and and to be loved for the rest of your life.Family...a sensation that brings a smile to your lips unknowingly.Yes... I have a crazy big family...a doting father,a sarcastic and sassy mother,one overprotective and ready to kill any one for his baby sister type brother and another sarcastic and annoying but at the same time caring brother and a lovely sister in law who loves me and treats me like her own sister.I feel blessed to have a crazy and loving family.

"Vina...my baby.Come back to earth",my mom as usual started her melodrama.

"Yes ..mom...What were you saying?",I asked her in a bored tone.

"This girl...it's your birthday party gown selection we were discussing about ...not mine",she pouted.

"Come on Mom...I'm not 2 year old for jumping up and down for a birthday party,I'm 22 ".

"Well...try telling that to your dad.And it's your engagement as well".

"Mom ..Please convince dad...I just don't like these stupid parties.Can't you keep it low profile".

"Vina baby...how boring are you...a party is exactly what you should have now...you are 22 not 62...that means you need to party and enjoy your life now",she said rolling her eyes.

Sometimes I wonder who among us is the mother...I mean she is so lively and smart whereas I'm boring and dull .

"Your dad likes to flaunt his pretty daughter to the world and also tomorrow he is going to announce your engagement with Darian,So you see it's a waste of time to try and convince your daddy dearest,because he has decided to throw a big party and he is unstoppable and stubborn like Damien and you",my mom rambled dramatically.

"Mom ,stop cussing dad".

"Ya..Ya..Ya ..Dad's lobbyist... I carried you and Damien in my womb for 9 months and you both showed me gratitude by deciding to look exactly like your dad",she grumbled.

"Only my little sweetie pie turned out to look beautiful like me and also he has my good nature.He would have supported me if he had been here.I miss him so much",my mom said dramatically.

"You mean irritating nature...you both are self obsessed and annoying.."I teased her.

"What?...listen young lady...I know you and Damien are jealous because my sweetie pie loves me more than anyone",she bashed Damien and me.

"Mom...Dav will kill himself if he knows that you that you called him sweetie pie.And isn't he a bit too old to be called sweetie pie",I chuckled at the nickname she gave my 26 year old brother.

"Even if he is 60 ,he will remain my sweetie pie.So your father and you two traitors can burn in jealousy",my mom said giving me a fake glare.

My mom loves us equally but she has a soft corner for my brother Dav as he is the only one among us who looks like her and is just as sarcastic as her. He and Dad has their share of differences as my brother refused to join the family business.After the last fight thay had,he refused to come back home.But I know my Dad, he loves my brother so much but his ego is preventing him from patching up with him.

"I wish he was here right now celebrating your birthday with us.Oh ..why am I worried about that moron...he might be partying with hot chicks right now",she said rolling her eyes.

"Mom..you said you loved him and now you are cursing him,sometimes I think you are hormonal",I shook my head in disbelief.

"Then what do you expect me to do...Sit down and cry for him.I'm happy that he is following his dreams.If he had agreed with his dad and joined the family business,then I would have smacked him myself.It is important to follow your dreams because you only live once.So I'm with him and his dreams.Not only him,I'm with you and Damien as well.You should also follow your heart Vina.I will support you even if your dad doesn't".

"Mom...please don't start.."

"Why are you doing this to yourself?.You don't love Darian and neither does he.You both are ruining your lives by getting married to each other",she advised me.

"Mom...there is no such thing as love...love only causes heartbreak...and it's a waste of time...And this marriage is important to me because it involves my dad's happiness and his happiness means everything to me",I replied wanting to stop the topic.

"Don't destroy your life for your dad's happiness...He is not a tyrant...he is your dad...he will understand your feelings or I will make him understand it..Marriage is not a child's play...Call off this marriage when there is still time.If my sweetie pie was here,he would have stopped this marriage himself",she was hell bent on trying to make me change my decision.

"Mom I have made up my mind.I am marrying Darian and it is my final decision.Love has no place in my life anymore",I told her my decision.

"But Vina...how will you survive in a loveless marriage?",my mom was worried about me.

"Stop brainwashing my pumpkin... Lila",my dad's voice made my mom stop her rambling .

"Darian is her fiance and they are getting married in two weeks time.And I will not let anyone or anything come in between my daughter's happiness.Darian De Luca is the heir of the De Luca family.He is perfect for my little girl....Why are you against this marriage when we have known him from his childhood .He is a sweet and friendly boy and we are family friends and business partners.His dad is my best friend and the De Luca family is the best choice for my daughter",my dad was trying convince  my mother although it was a herculean task.

"And here I thought you were obsessed with the letter D",my mom spat at my Dad sarcastically.What she said was true all of our names started with D.And my mom never approved of it.And she almost thought that Dad chose Darian for me because his name started with D.

"Nick ...she doesn't love him.Why are you forcing her into marrying him?",my mom tried to reason with my dad.

"She will fall in love eventually after her marriage with Darian.We did ...didn't we?",my dad replied smiling at my mother.

"That is absolute nonsense. You are delusional and stubborn.And don't compare our story with hers",she said angrily.

"Why my dear wife...didn't you fall head over heels in love with me",my dad smirked at my mom.

"I didn't...you were the one who was behind me like a lost puppy",my mom scowled at my poor dad.

"Really honey ...you were the one who couldn't resist my charm and hotness..."

"Hotness ...my foot...you are not half as handsome as my sweetie pie",she bickered.

"Don't take his name in front of me Lila..."

"I will ...and I want you to get him back here for his sister's marriage.Not only him I also want you to ask Damien to bring Isabella and the kids for Vina's engagement".

"Not happening ",dad said with stubbornness.

Dav and Isabella had a fight with dad over a family issue which was not their fault at all.But dad was angry with both of them for going against him.My big brother Damien supported dad instead of his wife Isabella and took her away from the family home.Now they both live in my brother's penthouse with the kids.And after that incident Bella seldom visits our home eventhough she respects dad.My dad loves her as his own daughter and he regretted her leaving our family home.

"Ok...then get ready to sleep on the couch for the rest of your life",she said crossing her arms.

"Honey...you can't do that to me.Don't you know I can't sleep without you",my dad said in a pleading voice.

I blushed seeing dad's PDA.My dad is a ruthless businessman for the whole world,but in front of my mom he is just a love sick puppy.He loves her more than anything and they are the cutest couple I have ever seen.

"I can and I will,Mr.Knight.If you are stubborn, then I am 100 times more stubborn than you. Already I agreed to both of your idea of this marriage sham.But if this wedding is really happening then I want my whole family here.Hope you got my point,Mr.Knight.Because I'm not your loving daughter who will abide to your emotional blackmail..I'm your wife and I have my own set of terms and conditions",She said stubbornly.

"Dad..Mom is right.I have agreed to this marriage because I want your happiness.But if I'm marrying Darian,I want my entire family to be present for my wedding.Please Dad...Is it too much to ask?",I looked at him in anticipation.

"No darling...you are my everything.I will do anything for you even if it means I have to tolerate that spoilt son of mine.And don't worry Lila...I have already asked your sweetie pie to be present for my Vina's marriage.My darling wife... now don't pout...Aren't you happy now.And Isabella and the kids are coming for the engagement party tomorrow.Now don't I deserve a kiss".

"In your dreams Nick..."

"Please Lila ...just one".

"Mom,Dad ...I'm still here...",I reminded the love birds.

"So what ...I'm asking a kiss from my wife not  someone else.Lila ...love...isn't it true",Dad said giving her a puppy eye look.

"Grow up Nick",mom scolded dad.

"Wow...come on my adorable would be mother in law...Give a kiss to my sweet gonna be father in law...",a voice interrupted our conversation.

"Darian..."all three of us took his name unconsciously surprised by his sudden visit.

"Sugar...Did you miss me?",he asked giving me a wicked grin.
