Elizabeth had only opened the book as something to do while they were talking, and she had completely forgotten about it when he walked over to her. She didn’t even think about it, let alone the fact it might be on the page she had written that particular information on.
“I don’t think now is the right time to talk about this,” she hurriedly closed the notebook, and pushed it away as she spoke.
“I know. I’ve caused way too much turmoil tonight without forcing that on you, I just never know when to keep my mouth shut. You know I’ve seen that you’re going away without me, and that I didn’t go looking for it or find it because I didn’t trust you. That’s enough for now. You should go get a sweater and then come find me at the car.”
