Chapter 9

Lucas pov

I just finished the last appointment for today. I checked on Fluffy and got ready to go to my parent's for lunch. My sister is now with the children to get the kitten they asked for. They have not come yet. Where are they? The sooner I finish, the sooner I will go to my parents and then to Anna. I can not wait. I already know her so little, and I want to spend as much time as I can with her. I look at my watch, and it's been an hour since they finished school. Where is my sister? Let's call Anna until they come. I call her and with the second ring she answers.

"Hey babe"

"Hi, Luk. What are you?"

"I'm fine. I've been waiting a long time for my sister, and I said to call you to see how you are doing?. "

"I'm fine. Alice kept me. She wanted details from yesterday," she says with a laugh at the end.

"And? How did it go?" I say to tease her. She sighs and tells me

"Typical Alice" I hear a knock on the door

"Come in," I say and see Eliza, Fiona, and Alex come in.

"Hi, Uncle Luke. We've come," they shout excitedly

"One-minute, guys," I tell them, and I come back on the phone call.

"Baby, I'll see you later."

"Your sister came with the children. I heard them. Talk to you later. Send a message what time you will come." she says with a laugh

"Ok. I will. Kisses." I say and hang up the phone

"Did I hear baby and kisses?" says my sister teasingly.

"Yes, he said it," shouts Fiona with a smile

"Speak. Tell me everything."

"I'll tell you everything later at lunch. Let's go now because I have a date later," she says something, but I cut her off

"Later. You're already late."

"Ok, ok, I see you're in a hurry."

"Yes, he has a date with a girl," Alex teases, I say

"let's go," and I go to the door. After a long time, they finally chose a kitten. We filled in the necessary papers and left. My parents' house was fifteen minutes from the clinic. We entered the area where my parents' mansion was located—representative of my family's property and position in the city. After we got out of our cars, we headed to the front door. Mrs. Mary opened for us

"Hello, guys. Your parents are waiting in the living room."

"Let me see you. You look different, happier," she tells me. I could never fool her. She has known me since I was a small child. Always she knows what's happening to me just by looking at me.

"Who has a date?" I see my mother entering the room and behind me my father. I sigh and say

"Me. I didn't get in, and you started," I say

"My boy? Dating? How long have I been waiting for you to make a decision" my mother says and hugs me

"I had a long time to find a girl worthwhile," she smiles at me. "Come on, let's go eat and tell us everything" We sat in the dining room, and the questions started immediately. I told them that we also met for the time we spent together.

"Well done from what you say, she looks like a wonderful girl. Is she from our city?"

"No. She has recently moved to the city. She is the new kindergarten teacher" the children looked at me with a smile and then shouted

"Yeah, Miss Anna is the best," says Fiona

"Oh, the teacher who hasn't stopped talking about her since they started school?"

"Yes," I answer

"The children have said it's true. She is wonderful” I say

"And beautiful," says Fiona

"Indeed, she is beautiful and very kind," says Eliza

"When will we meet her?" my mother asks excitedly

"I do not know. It's still early. I want to, but Anna has dealt with some issues in the past, and I do not want to force her. We go slow, and when she is ready, you will meet her. Do not worry, for me, and it is something serious, someday you will meet her."

We continued the conversation. In the meantime, I sent a message to Anna that at seven pm I would be at her house. Around five pm I left for my house to change and go to Anna. I took a shower, changed, and left for Anna.

I arrived and rang the bell. He opens the door, and I keep my mouth open. She wears a cute royal blue casual dress up to the knee and flat shoes. And her hair loosely on her shoulders.

"Luk? Luk babe, are you okay?" her voice woke me up

"How did you call me?" I ask her, and she blushes

"Lucas. Are you okay? I've been talking to you for quite some time."

"You didn't just say that. Did you call me, babe?"

"Yes. Will you come in?" she says shyly. I approach her and kiss her on the mouth. As time goes on, it becomes more intense. f**k I love these lips. I cut the kiss to catch our breath

"Hi, babe. I miss you," I say

"Come in," she says shyly. She's turned red. How much I like that I affect her so much. I like that I tease her, and she reacts like that. We go inside and sit on the couch.

"You want something to drink. You came earlier, and the food is not ready yet."

"I could not wait any longer until I saw you," I tell her and take her hands.

"No. I'm fine. Just sit with me." she smiles and looks me in the eyes

"Did the kids choose a kitten?" she changes the subject, classic

"Yes, everything is fine. Then we all went to my parents for lunch" she nods

"I talked to them about you," I tell her, and she looks at me in horror

"Baby, don't do that. Except for what I told them. And I said the best. The kids had already said that their teacher was fantastic. I just confirmed it," I tell her, cup her face and kiss her gently.

"Please don't worry. I just told them that I dated a wonderful girl. I wanted to share it with them because I knew they would be happy for me. " she smiles at me and says

"I just don't have the best experience getting to know the parents" what an i***t has made her feel that way

"Please don't be sad. When you're ready, I won't force you" she nods. Somehow she calmed down, and we continued our night. The food is delicious. We saw a movie, and it was, unfortunately, time to leave. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
