Chapter Thirty One: Faceless Dreams

Adam When I woke up, I felt like damn near a new person. I’d slept better than I had in years. For the first time in a long time I woke up feeling refreshed. Other than my eyes, anyway. They felt terrible. I’d left my contacts in on accident. But that was an easy fix. Making my way to the sink, I switched my contacts for my glasses. Turning back to face the room, I found I was alone. It didn’t surprise me. Even though, I hoped Jadea would have stayed. Looking at the clock on my phone, it was nearing six. The band members should be getting up soon. We would be checking out of our rooms by nine. If I didn’t hear movement by seven I’d go knock on their doors. I decided to take a quick shower before heading down to the hotel’s dining area to take advantage of their continental breakfast
