Clarity
WENDY stood in front of the door of Kaiser’s study, internally debating if she’d go in or not.
‘Here we are again,’ she thought to herself as she was suddenly reminded of the last time she was in his house. It wasn’t a good confrontation that had happened here. It was when it dawned on her how she was played by Kaiser. It was a moment of utter confusion which led to a sense of clarity somehow. But before clarity came an abyss of confusion and fear.
‘Clarity? Clarity that you’ve been played by every single person in your life, and you’re the only one who knows nothing about your own life? Isn’t that pitiful, Kirst?’ Her inner warrior made fun of herself again, and she couldn’t help but to feel pity.
