“WENDY!”
She heard someone call her name, but she couldn’t move from her place anymore. She was just petrified, her eyes widening as she awaited for the screeching fast car to hit her spot and crash into her body. She wanted to close her eyes to unsee her death or move her feet to escape from it, but it was all happening too fast that her mind couldn’t process it anymore.
“Wendy!”
She felt herself being pulled away from her spot and instead of the car, her body crashed into a warm and steady body. She finally closed her eyes and bit her lower lip. The tears she didn't know were also stunned just like her was now freely flowing her cheeks.
